I have to admit, the bruiser support is godly made and very recommended! It's for the main supports that actually are good and want to carry their teams, first time VI and i did 13/5/24. Pretty good, i rarely ever comment to rate builds on mobafire but this one catched my eye. +1

Hello xmotoby and other Vi mains! Collecting opinions about common jungle matchups for my in-depth Udyr Guide at the moment, still missing some on Vi vs Udyr!
And happy new Year if you read this in 2017 ;)

Hi Sibitrix, glad to help! In my experience, you can beat almost anyone as any jungler based on decision making and predicting what they will do next. However, in my experience, Udyr generally isn't as strong as Vi since she can keep up with his clear speed, early pressure, and can duel him successfully (at least early-mid game). I think Vi's teamfights are better as well, but Udyr does have much better splitpushing potential with his waveclear and the fact that he runs so fast, so that's where a good Udyr could win the game. So even though I think Vi as a champ is "better" at this point, the outcome of the game really depends on who makes better choices. If there's any other info you need, feel free to let me know!

Thanks for your opinion! Jeah, the decisionmaking part and your opinion about Udyrs splitpush is very true, i myself climbed to Diamond 2 only playing Udyr with a 75% winrate up until diamond 3, but that should be obvious and it not the point when describing jungle matchups and giving tips on them.
I also agree that Vi is stronger in the current meta, but that also shouldnt matter when talking about the matchup itself.
That Vi can keep up with Udyr clearspeed is something i did not know, i thought as every ganking jungler Udyr would be able to outfarm her. Or can she just keep up early and falls behind midgame?
For me Vi is a pretty annoying matchup since she has a very strong earlygame, she has good ganks pre 6 and fantastic ganks after, she has an as strong Trinity Force powerspike and splitpushing against her is pretty hard because of her hard engage. Even counterjungling can be a problem since her pick potential with Q and Ult is so strong.

I've been having success doing the Red>Krugs Cheese at level 3. You might want to put it in the guide before they remove it.

I'm still adjusting to the new jg, so forgive my ignorance haha. What's the Red>Krugs cheese?

I'm pretty sure they're removing it next patch. Basically, junglers with a healthy lv 2 clear could go Red>Krugs for a quick lv 3 in 3? minutes and gank the nearestt lane right after since the lanes will be lv2. it garuntees a kill or burnt flash.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! You have made some good points. By sustain I meant heals (like soraka sona or nami) but I did forget about the relic shield stacks :P.

By melee, i meant that to do most of her damage, she has to be up close as opposed to some ranged poke-oriented champ. I'll say something more about that haha.

Never thought about taking barrier, but it seems like it'd work. I'll try it sometime, but have been kinda too busy to play much recently.

Thanks again!

Surely is a very good guide, some of the points were a bit confusing aswell as an point where I had to think of for a moment.

However: (Whenever I comment on a guide there is always an however.)

Cons:
No sustain: Not true, Vi is in my opinion one of the most sustainable "JUNGLERS" in the game at the moment due to her shield. Let's take a look at Rengar for example. Aswell as if you would go support with her it would mean that with the relic shield and your passive you quite have the sustain in your kit.

Melee: Melee in what way do you mean it is a very negative point for her?

Ult: Can completely agree on had many occasions where I ****ed up :P

I might sound like an complete idiot right now but please feel free to call me so if you want to. Have you ever thought about taking barrier with you as support. Yeah sounds weird right? But if there comes a moment where you have to dive a tower for your ADC to get a kill or because your jungler wants to dive in, your passive is a shield, and so is barrier. Meaning you can take around 2-3 more turret shots whenever you try to go in. Should give you enough time to either retreat from the turret and take the hits for your ADC.

Furthermore great job with the guide keep up the good work and hope to see some more guides of you coming in the future.

Being Melee makes you vulnerable when fighting because you are always in the middle of the enemy team.
