Shaco is a champion that is not normally played. Some people consider it as a troll pick this is because they don't understand that Shaco is strong. The only problem is that not many people play him right, this is why i decided to make this guide. This guide will hopefully teach you what you need to know when playing Shaco and how to play him.

The reason i still take utility is it gives you the "Runic Affinity" this increases the duration by 20% of buffs. Since you are a jungler buffs are very important and being able to have them for a longer time is such a huge advantage. Yes i do understand that shaco is very squishy and that putting points in the defense tree will help you survive but a good shaco player's will learn to survive with his/her Deceive spell.

Start at Red buff
Place boxes at 1:00 and whenever you can after that up until it spawns you should get around 4 you will level up from this then deceive over the wall and run towards blue buff when you are nearly there your deceive will be off coodown deceive over the wall place a box behind blue buff and hit it. Try to hit from the back and auto attack cancel your way around it to make use of your "BackStab" passive.

Advance jungle Route
Start the same but at about 1:30 run to blue this only works if your team leashes (This is not a normal leash they should tank it near your boxes and let your boxes kill it). while this is going on you are running to blue buff and you get a even faster double buff i would not recommend this in ranked solo/duo because your team probably won't understand what you are asking them or if they try it they most likely will mess it up because the lake of experience doing this.
