Tried this build once, kicked Xin Zhaos *** at top lane haha

This build is amazingly fun! was able to go 1 v 1 against a yi even at lvl 18, the damage and vamp are so awesome. Too bad i rarely see anyone want to play full tank in normal games, but I will use this build whenever i get the chance!

Yes i do solotop with this build, yes i am very well aware of the situation with Shen in ranked, and being able to play him there atm seems impossible. A great idea before entering a normal (If you want to play normal, even though it might not that serious) is to tell people that you play Bruiser Shen or Hybrid Shen of some sort. As long as people are aware that this Shen is not a support neither a tank, but a damage dealer along with the champs like Pantheon or Olaf.

@lab_maniac do u solo top with this build or go bot with someone else? and everyone keeps saying shen is op so we ban him so i can never play him in ranked.

Shen is probably one of the best top characters after the last patch. I like your guide a lot because its not mainstream and it shows a fun and effective way to play with Shen

Looks like a good guide. When using this build I think I would take wit'd end over Ionic Spark couse it focusses the damage on one target and you get's not of mr. You lose the health so if they deal no magic damage at all then better stick to the spark.

@Watertoad know the feeling man, i play this ranked cause teamates usually take it way more seriusly.

i won ever game until i got a noob team then i lost but i still had least deaths most kills for both teams.

I know you're going tanky DPS shen, but why not take Frozen Mallet or Rylai's Crystal Scepter instead of Trinity Force? those items will easily allow you to get more CC from your vorpal blade, which would become a slow with Rylai's, and your shadow dash would become a good gap closer, resulting in absolute kills when assisted by allies.

Overall, it sounds nice, and you have my upvote, but you should possibly list more options for the item build and runes.
