Hi guys, this is my first guide out there. This one is about Irelia, a solid tanky-DPS really strong at solo top lane. Irelia is strong, fast and deals good damage.

For the runes I go with Greater Mark of Desolation x9 and Greater Seal of Armor x9, for the glyphs I usually get Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist ones but if you get an AP hero against you, pick the Greater Glyph of Magic Resist. Some players use Greater Seal of Evasion on Irelia, in my opinion Greater Seal of Armor are much better since she doesn't have any dodge boost from her passive / skills. For the quintessences use 2 Greater Quintessence of Vigor and 1 Greater Quintessence of Desolation to get 5.4/ hp regen and 18 armor penetration.

I play irelia with 0/21/9 masteries. With 21 points on Defense you will be very strong at holding your lane and survive to ganks. I use 9 points on Utiliy with 1 point for Haste since I think that Ghost is much better on Irelia than Flash.

Get afirst for extra HP and health regen. Then get afor more HP regen and mana regen because you will sometimes get mana issues without it. Then buyand rush Trinity Force starting with thefor extra HP and it's passive. When your trinity is complete you are a big threat for the enemy team. Getfor extra MR and anti CC. Then start to build a. When it's complete you are almost a God if the other team is not fed. After the Warmog I usually go for abut if there are too strong APs get aor if you have a lots of AD right-clickers get a. You can also getfor extra Defense, HP, and regen and it's active is awesome in melee fights. Since you have now a lot of HP and if the game is still not over of course, get awhich will give you everything you need to end the game. If you still have engough golds improve yourinto.

Improve Hiten Style first for the extra damage it gives early game which is quite important. Get Equilibrium Strike at level 4 for for the slow/stun. Then keep on upgrading Hiten Style and Bladesurge .

For the sumonner spells I usually pick Ghost over Flash and Teleport as the second spell. For Teleport it is only a personnal preference, get Ignite if you prefer it over Teleport.
