Ok, fair enough. You have your reasons for liking it and I haven't even played Sona yet. So I can't really disagree with your reasons without any experience backing me up.

But don't lie about your bad knowledge of runes. Your other build has mana-reg glyphs.. There's many who don't know much, it's more normal to don't know.

archangels staff is in my build under optional along with a few other choices that can replace it, zhonya's ring is a good item for her wether you believe it or not. And i see your point, i must have switched them by accident. thank you for bringing it to my attention.

You fail to grasp the point.. Mana-reg is primary in seals and AP is primary in glyphs. You lose 3,6AP and 0,9mana-reg by switching places on those two.. You just proved your bad knowledge of runes..

Zhonya's Ring "WILL" not save your life that much. But I do agree that the active is nice. As for the AP you get; it gives ~155AP, Archangel's Staff gives ~130AP. Archangel's Staff > Zhonya's Ring for Sona imo.

Zhonya's ring provides better heals, better harassing, better survivability. As a support you WILL be targeted frequently and this WILL save your life.. She gets plenty of mana regen as she is.

Is Zhonya's Ring really a good item with an aura support champ? There are way better items availible imo..
