Hey guys, I'm eyooimashark. This is my first guide ever so please leave comments to help me improve :D. As the title already states, this guide is a guide to going "Super Balls Deep". By that I mean YOU CAN'T DIE. muahahahaha. Keep in mind I don't usually like maining any one champion so I don't play Garen like every game. Garen is a champion I play when I want to win or I just want to dominate. However, despite Garen being extremely easy to play, he can also be easy to suck with depending on your build. I have been using this build for quite some time now and I feel that it is extremely effective. It will allow you to tank a lot of damage while also distributing a lot of damage.

Like many other people, Garen was one of the first champions I ever purchased, mainly because he is so easy.

Pros:
- easy to play
- can be tanky AND do damage
- super fun
- looks sexy
- hard to be countered
- passive is AMAZING during laning phase
- OP ult

Cons:
- hard to know when to use your ult
- could be called a noob for using such an easy champ
- expensive build

The Armor Pen Runes will help you lane in top as most top laners are AD bruisers with a **** ton of armor. The Armor Runes will help you block the damage you will take early on in lane. If you think Garen has enough armor due to the build, Health Regen Runes are extremely good on Garen as it maximizes the effect of his passive. The Magic Resist Runes will help you not get raped by the enemy APC.

Since this build is meant to be played as more or less a tank, I think the majority of the masteries deserve to be in the defense slot, making it 9/21/0. The health included in the defensive masteries will help you be tanky early on, and the 9 in offense will give you a little bit more damage output.

Garen is just an all around awesome champion to use whether you need damage, tankiness, or you need a pusher. I hope this build helps you in your games to come. Peace out, Summoners.
