Tank Cho'gath Guide (WIP)

Level 1
At level 1, make sure to use E to poke and push wave for level 2 unless the matchup does not allow you to do so. This is generally a stronger point for you as you already have a strong poke ability that is relatively low mana. You are also naturally tanky.
Level 2
This is a weaker point for you. If your opponent has a strong level 2, make sure to back off. Resist the temptation of using Q for poke. It does little damage and does not lead to much this early in the game usually. Q also uses much more mana than E.
Levels 3-6
Now that you have your W, you can stand stronger in lane knowing you have two disengage options. Only use W and Q for disengage at this stage. Continue poking down with E and take advantage of any blunders by your opponent. You may want to back off for an early Bami's Cinder and/or Boots of Speed if the lanestate allows you to.
Bami's Cinder
Remember that you have TP, so, unless you see good opportunities for using TP to gank Botlane, you can get a free back and buy Bami's Cinder and Boots of Speed. This will give you some extra health while allowing you to do extra damage and push the wave in faster. Remember, that with Bami's Cinder, it will last hit low health minions for you often, so you should get used to the item generally to maximize CS.
Level 6
Unless you are in a volatile position, use your R to get early stacks. If your lane is volitile and you hold R, you can get kills even if you are losing lane. You can also use R for a 1-1 trade if their Jungler ganks. Overall, this is a point in the game where you are starting to become strong.
