Shrooms of Death
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Here is my guide to top lane teemo.
This will cover my preferred way to play the demon.
Dont take this too seriously.
3 * Scaling Ability Power Quintessence (Quints)
8 * Magic penetration Marks(REDS) + 1 * critical chance Mark(RED)
9 * Flat Armour Seals (YELLOWS)
9 * Flat Magic Resistance Glyphs (BLUES)
Instead of flat resistance you could run scaling as you will gain solo XP in the top lane
Masteries is completely up to you.
I generally run tunderlords for the early pre 6 trading
however you could run Death Fire Touch for the increased DOTs on your e and shrooms
item build is straight forward.
Nashors gives Attack speed for the extra E procs, since it also gives 15+ bonus on hit damage on top of your e. It also gives 80 ap which makkes early game that much easier.
Sorc shoes for that extra penetration.
Liandry's is a stock standard on teemo. It deals 4% max hp to targets when hit by shrooms as damage is double for move impaired targets.
Rabadon greatly increases damage to all your kit however since it costs an arm and a leg it will take a while to get.
Next is Morellonomicon. Not only will it give bulk AP and your last 20% cooldown it inflicts greivous wounds that reduce healing, which in turn makes your shrooms so much more deadly.
at this point in the game you will be able to deal 2/3rds of a squishies health per shroom.
As for your last item you can choose between Rylai's or Luden's.
both give 100 AP but Rylai's wil give the extra damage for your Q and E proc as well as slowing targets further on your shrooms.
Ludens also gives that extra small damage to targets that could be the difference between escaping and dying to you for the 25th time.
For your shrooms to be the most effective you will need to put them in areas that will be unswept by oracle lens and pinks. I recommend them to not be placed in bushed that are frequently swept. Walkways into the jg are a good idea but after the 2nd time they get hit
by them expect the sweepers to come out.
Stealthing Do's and Don'ts
Stealthing in the middle of the lane isnt such a great idea as you want to be active as the other laner will become more cautious if he/she is unaware of your location. "Is he in the lane?" "is it safe to farm?" Same applies to if you are constantly poking or going in for kills, giving up information for free. Stealthing should be used as a flank too when the enemy team overextends to far. waiting for the opportunity to come out and turn a 2 v 2 into a winnable fight or even when escaping to help your team turn on the fight.
