Introduction

Twisted Fate

AD Twisted Fate. I think one of the most dangerous carries in this game if well played. This guide will show you how to play a real teambased killingmachine. Twisted fate is i think one champ with the best gang potential or lets say, if well played, one of the champions with the biggest chance of success.

His biggest problem early game is: he is squishy like hell. The reason i start with some Doran's Blades to get a bit beefy for a successfull early game in mid.

Summoner Spells

Summary:

I play TF with Flash and Ghost. The reason is pretty easy: TF has no escapemechanism. TF can maybe escape an 1v1 with his stun. But if there are more then 1 you are lost.

Suggestion

Perfect skill either offensive or defensive. Use it for escaping but also for chasing or if a champ tries to get away while a gang.

Same like Flash. Good for escaping and also for chasing. In combination with your Red Card while you get ganged, you can get hopefully easily away with ghost.

Optionals:

Cool for early kills or also if the enemy team has healers like Soraka, Sona or Taric. It makes it also easier to eliminate a Warwick if you want to gang their jungle early.

For sure fine if they have a heavy melee AD like Tryndamere, Master Yi or Jax. Since it reduses also MagicDamage, its for sure also awesome if they have any hard nukers. What wants a exhausted 3-Hit Veigar do against such a package of damage?

Gang with ult -> Port back to your mid. Nothing more to say.

Runes

Marks

9 x Greater Mark of Desolation I take Armorpenetration marks because its a must with a carry. It also pushes your damage hard in earlygame which is really important to dominate the midlane.

Seals

9 x Since TF is really squishy, i prefere HP Seals for a better survivability earlygame. Better survivability = automatically more damage output.

Glyphs

9 x They are secondary i know. But i think of all Glyphs will HP Runes help you most.

Quints

9 x Greater Quintessence of Desolation Armorpenetration aswell. Do I really have to explain that ones again? Push your damage during the whole game. Best choice.

Masteries

I prefere 21/0/9. You are a carry nothing else. I put the 9 points into the Utility tree because you profit most due to Preseverence you got some reg and Awareness you will get faster XP. The point into Utility Mastery i put because you should get red as much as possible. Also Baron buff lasts longer and you wont need mana so the point in Meditation would be a waste...

Skill Sequence

I skilled this one really as LAST because due to you are an AD Carry you will neither use them because they do no damage nor you will have enougth mana to spam them.

This skill is very usefull because of its variability. You have stun with Gold Card, AOE damage and slow with Red Card and can replenish your manareserves with your Blue Card. While ganging the Gold Card will be your friend while pushing the Red Card is your friend.

Your ultimative carry skill. Every 4. hit bonus damage, every level attackspeed increase and cooldown decrease. This is gread because you can spam your Pick A Card more.

This ulti is great for more then just gang. It freakin' reveals every enemy champion on the map. Even Evelin, Twitch or Shaco while they are invisible! Once activated, you can teleport everywhere on the map. This is really awesome for first: Gang from lvl 6 on and second: Pushing enemy towers. If you see no enemy is near a tower which is gettin pushed by creeps -> Port there, destroy tower and go back. This tactic is also really helpfull when the enemy is pushing mid or sidelane. Teleport to the other tower and believe me. While the enemy can destroy 1 tower while the rest of your team is defending the lane, you can push 2 of their towers or one tower and a inhibitor!

Items

Summary

-> -> 3 x -> -> -> -> ->

Early Game

Many people will ask: why the heck so many Doran's Blades?! The answer is easy:
You get Damage, Lifeleech and Healthpoints. What you want more? Lets calculate:

4 x Doran's Blade = +40dmg, +400hp and +12% Lifesteal. Thanks to Berserker's Greaves you get +25 attack speed and you will also get attackspeed due to Stacked Deck.

Mid Game

Goal of Mid game is to get your Infinity Edge finished and also started with Sword of the Divine. You can now start to sell your Doran's Blades to get slots for your lategame items.

Late Game

Finish your Sword of the Divine and rush for a Banshee's Veil. You will need at least one defensive item and due to you are really easy shutted down with any sort of stun you wont get around this item. If you really have not won the game yet, head for more damage/as/crit with Bloodthirster and Phantom Dancer.

The Game

Hold on mid. You need mid. Otherwise it will be really annoying to get the items together. Also you will need lvl 6 as soon as possible because you need to gang earlygame with Destiny. Farm, farm, farm. You can harass the enemies mid with your redcards or also with a goldcards and some autohits. Thanks to your ArmorPen runes you will hurt them pretty hard.

As soon as you are level 6, teleport back to base, get Berserker's Greaves and as many Doran's Blades as possible and immediatly start ganging top or bot with your ult.

While in mid, try to push not too hard. But if you see the enemy returns to the base or starts a gang, immediately start push with your red card and try to hurt their tower as much as possible.

If your low and need go b, tell your jungler to gang and if ur ult is ready, gang gang gang. You will need kills. As soon you got your Infinity Edge and Sword of the Divine, your damageoutput will increase radically.

In teamfights stay back, and focus their carries.
