Throughout Valoran, the resolve of Demacia's military is alternately celebrated or despised, but always respected. Their "zero tolerance" moral code is strictly upheld by civilians and soldiers alike. In combat, this means Demacian troops may not make excuses, flee, or surrender by example. Garen, the valiant warrior who bears the title "the Might of Demacia", is the paradigm to which these leaders are compared. Thousands of great heroes have risen and fallen on the bloody battlefields between Demacia and its preeminent rival, Noxus. It was beneath their mighty banners of war that Garen first met steel with Katarina, the Sinister Blade. The infantrymen who beheld this event (and survived) commented that it seemed as though the two were locked in a mortal waltz set against a symphony of clashing blades.
Garen, the pride of the Demacian military and the leader of the Dauntless Vanguard, returned from this battle breathless for the first time in his career, though some speculate this was due to reasons other than exhaustion. The plausibility of these rumors was bolstered when, in every instance thereafter, Garen seized the opportunity to encounter the Sinister Blade again. A paragon of Demacian ethic, Garen never entertained such allegations, for he knew others couldn't understand. Even simply the pursuit of a worthy opponent on the battlefield is, to a true warrior, the reason to rise each morning. The promise of one, particularly one so beautifully and diametrically opposed, is the validation of his existence.

HOW TO BE SUCCESFULL IN LANE
(Buying an infinity edge is a waste of time and money becuase you can buy almost 2 tiamats for that price and still get more damage.)
This build is based on pure splash damage (works has been tested several times).
When laning be careful not to get shut down badly, but if your dying and getting assist that's good. (Remember to use garens passive often.) When u get your first tiamat the laning will become more successful and easier. U will start to dish out more effective damage which will scare your enemy. After getting your second tiamat minion farm will become way way easier. This gives you the chance to go around lanes and just steal minions,(if no other players are in that lane). When you have achieved all three tiamats you will have incredible damage. (Buying an infinity edge is a waste of time and money becuase you can buy almost 2 tiamats for that price and still get more damage like i said first).
The tiamats do work on your skills like decisive strike, judgment and damcian justice.
This is because if you see a massive bunch of minions and you use decisive strike, it will whipe out the wave like that. And your Damcian justice also, for i got a double kill with it and almost a triple. This told me that tiamtas work on his skills, similar to Fioras ult.
WELL, because it has a cheaper cost, more damage, can out build a master yi etc.
It may look like a weird and ridiculous build but it works.
The mana-regen is a bit pointless.

Abilities (Deeper Look)
(Innate): Garen will regenerate 0.5% of his maximum health per second after not receiving damage for 7 seconds. The regenerative state will stop if Garen receives damage.
Perseverance is a passive ability that grants Garen bonus health regeneration. This buff is removed when Garen takes damage, and refreshes when Garen does not take any damage for 7 seconds.
Perseverance's health regeneration will be affected by items that increase healing like Spirit Visage.
Perseverance's health regeneration will be cut by 50% by Grievous Wounds if it was applied without dealing damage with Executioner's Calling.
(Active): Garen gains bonus movement speed for 4 seconds, in addition his next melee attack within 6 seconds will deal physical damage and silence its target for 2.5 seconds.
Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 seconds
Total Physical Damage: 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 (+1.4 per attack damage)
Bonus Movement Speed: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35%
Decisive Strike is an autoattack modifier that causes Garen's next autoattack to deal bonus physical damage and silence the target. Additionally, Decisive Strike increases Garen's movement speed for a short duration when cast.
Decisive Strike pops spell shield.
Decisive Strike will not damage Black Shield but the silence is negated.
Decisive Strike cannot critically strike.
Decisive Strike will refresh Garen's attack timer on cast.
Decisive Strike's on-hit effect and movement speed buff are independent. Using the enhanced autoattack will not remove the movement speed buff.
Decisive Strike will proc on turrets and other structures, applying bonus damage but not the silence.
(Passive): Garen's armor and magic resistance are permanently increased by 0.5 every time he kills an enemy unit. Garen can gain a maximum of 25 armor and magic resistance.
(Active): Garen places a defensive shield on himself, decreasing all damage taken by a percentage for 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 30 / 27 / 24 / 21 / 18 seconds
Damage Reduced: 20 / 24 / 28 / 32 / 36%
Courage passively grants Garen a permanent bonus to his armor and magic resistance whenever he kills an enemy unit. When activated, Courage is a self-target ability that places a shield buff on Garen, reducing all incoming damage by a percentage for 3 seconds.
Courage's passive will increase whenever Garen kills minions, champions and neutral monsters.
Courage's passive benefits are not lost while the ability is on cooldown.
Courage will not reduce true damage.
(Active): Garen rapidly spins his sword around his body for 3 seconds, removing all existing slows and reducing the duration of new slows by 50%, plus dealing physical damage to nearby enemies every half second. Minions and neutral monsters only take half damage from this ability. Garen can deactivate Judgment early by activating the ability again after 0.5 seconds. Garen cannot use Decisive Strike or Demacian Justice while Judgment is in effect. Judgment's damage can critically strike, in which case, only the bonus damage will be multiplied.
