ehm you can max e for extra dmg, but you can max q for minimum cooldown so you van hook more often.
It's just how you play and how you prefer it.

I like this guide, but I feel like it gets 2 major things wrong. 1.You don't max the Q, you max the flay. The dmg from the flat dmg from the passive auto on flay, and the fact that the slow scales from a 20% to a nasty 40% just makes it better. But no one can tell you what ability to take level 1 that's up to you. But I take and max flay first and this leads into my other issue. 2.Your choice of final tier mastery. I don't know why but people have this hard on for bond of stone, thresh synergizes WAY better with Grasp of the undying. (I mean he's a Skelton after all : 3) Thresh's auto is a tad weird, its ranged but they still count it as a mele auto. (That's why yas wind wall doesn't block it) So it procs the full 3% health steal in stead of the halved version. Bond of stone is made for those really beefy sups who can take 6% extra dmg for their adc, but early on thresh is a high risk squishy caster. At level 1 Thresh has 16 armor, where a champ like Leona who is a natural tank has 27.

Follow this guide if you're new to Thresh! This guide outlines some very important builds, but if you're used to Thresh, you may want to find your own build.

Pretty good guide. It'd be much better if you could give more build options, give more tips, and so forth. Good work!
