This is my first guid so be gental. I am a silver player have been that sense season 3 and playd sense season 3. Not saying that this is the best guide, i just find it to work for me. Might be that i am a silver player but this works in silver.

When u Play Tahm Kench top ur a supportive tank. U have hard cc and slows. U have great Mobilety with ur ult. Tahm Kench can posibly the most broken champ Riot has made. U do dmg, can help ur team and u have great mobilety. If u know how to play other toplane tanks like Dr. Mundo or Maokai its mostly the same way. Just remember to keep ur carries safe. U are not a hyper carrie, dont expect to do most dmg. Good positioning is very handy.

Items:
So u rush Sunfire or abyssal. it depends on the lane ur facing. If u face magic dmg u go with abyssal, if u are againds ad u go with sunfirecape. Reason for why u have a hydra is to get autoattack resets to stack passive faster. Icborne and Frozen heart gives mana and a combined 40% CDR. The Spellblade is not that inportant the important part about iceborn is the slow.

Abillitys:
U mostly use ur q to poke ur laner always save ur E for when u are getting dived or are about to die (alway have 50 mana) Use ur ultimate to get to lane faster so u can save ur tp for ganking other lanes.

Masteries:
So the reasoning behind the masteries is that ur main job is to be a supportive player. U can do som healthy dmg but ur main objecitve is to be the adc or mid players secound support. A stronger support. you will also be very tanky

Runes:
Runes are mostly for farming, you have that one crit rune just becaus u can, and ur not loosing that much ad. the armour and MR is selfexplanitory where u are just getting buffed up. the attack speed is to stack ur passive faster.
