Introduction

Hi I'm SlayerZeppelin and Varus has been my go-to main as an ADC since my lower levels. I have noticed that there aren't many other Varus players that build the same as I do and I am confident to say that it is a strong build for him. This is my first guide on Mobafire so some constructional criticism would be appreciated :)

Runes

I like to keep a general rune set-up for all of my ADC's. This helps me maintain a versatile play style for the builds that I generally run.

Masteries

Offense tree gives you the early game damage that you do so need while the rune set-up that I have is more for a mid game lane transition. Having 9 points in the Defense tree allows for some tankiness to help shrug off some of the enemies poke.

Pros / Cons

Pros
-Very strong late game
-Lots of kiting potential
-Mercurial scimitar lets you get away from enemy cc
-Lots of zoning potential
Cons
-Weak early game if you can't zone
-Not a very mobile champion

Items

Starting with a Doran's Blade Health Potion and Stealth Ward is generally your strongest option. Recall for your B. F. Sword and Vampiric Scepter if possible (prioritize B. F. Sword but both are fine for different situations). Second recall should be for Bloodthirster and Berserkers Grieves. Then try to push a bit of a lane advantage while stacking your BT (Needed for the scaling of bonus AD). Note that building your Trinity Force completely relates with your play style, however I recommend by starting with a Zeal as it gives you the attack speed and crit chance that you need and some movement speed which is always nice :3. Build order after completion of Trinity Force is completely situational. For instance if their teams tank is becoming a problem but doesn't have much armour then proceed by building a Blade of the Ruined King.
