Hey! Welcome to my Vayne build. I've been testing Vayne out since the beginning and I believe I've found the overall best DPS build for here. It's insane how much damage she puts out and will most likely be nerfed. However, USE THIS WHEN YOU CAN! Because she does so much damage it's absolutely erroneous.

REMEMBER, THIS IS A GUIDE IN PROGRESS. USE THE ITEMS STATED AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY DO WELL. HOWEVER, YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO PLAY VAYNE FIRST!!

PROS
- Absolutely outrageous damage
- Almost impossible to kill 1v1
- Extremely short cool downs
- Great escapability

CONS
- EXTREMELY squishy
- Somewhat expensive build
- A tiny bit of a learning curve

Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Mark of Desolation. Why? Because you want to destroy anyone, anywhere, anytime. This gives you the needed ArP that is essential in destroying everyone from squishies to tanks.


Greater Seal of Alacrity. Why? This gives you even more attack speed added on to the items you are buying. With crazy attack speed comes crazy damage + more true damage with your bolts + more lifesteal with your items!


Greater Glyph of Celerity. Why? You know how your tumble has such a low CD? Why not make it shorter. The more tumble = more damage just like the above rune. Use it. Right now I don't see a viable alternative.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation
Greater Quintessence of Desolation. Why? Of course you know why. For the same exact reason we got the marks. ArP is the biggest part of killing whoever you want especially tanks. Just get this, no other options makes sense.

Masteries are somewhat of a work in progress. It's tough because she's ALL AD and you want the most offensive masteries you can get. However, this leaves a bit of an unbalance...so this part is under construction.

For the items listed above, this is what I get in about 90% of my games. I show the complete sequence from prerequisites to full blown items. I will go over each so that they make sense.


You must always start with this item. You will be squishy enough so you need the health. The extra damage and lifesteal is a bonus.


Since the newly added items I always get these boots. You will eventually get the tenacity later with Cloak and Dagger. You obviously need these so you get the attack speed.


This item is so awesome. Movement speed, attack speed, and critical strike. The three things Vayne is made for. This item is essential in mid/late game domination. Stacking on your passive + more attack speed just makes Vayne even more scarier.


I get this item here so that I have some sort of lifesteal before getting the whole shebang with BT. Believe me, with the crits you'll be doing, this little 12% lifesteal is excellent to have here.


This item is so essential. Not only does it take place of your Mercury Treads but it gives you attack speed and crit! PERFECT!


This completes the attack damage/lifesteal built from the Vampiric Scepter. With this, you get stacks of damage and lifesteal making you more of a beast.


This is a no-brainer. Damage, critical strike, + 250% critical damage. This has Vayne's name written all over it.


This just makes Vayne hit harder and makes here completely unstoppable end game. Get this item if your enemies aren't extremely tanky.

Madred's Bloodrazer
Get this item in place of trinity force if your enemies are extremely tanky.

Vayne is one of the best harassers early game and THE best damage output late game. From the start, you always want to grab Tumble. Having Tumble allows you to harass whomever you are facing early.

When you're in your lane (whether it be top, bottom, or even mid!) make sure to always harass your enemy with Tumble. Just Tumble towards them, hit them once, they GTFO. Keep doing this repeatedly and they will start getting PISSED.

One thing you MUST remember about Vayne is that she is probably the most squishiest character in the game. If you don't remember this, you will die extremely easily. Also you must remember that SHE IS AN ASSASSIN! DO NOT EVER INITIATE! Run around the jungle and gank whoever you want. You have to make sure to know that the gank will be successful before even trying. A failed gank most likely means you're dead.

Another thing you have to remember is how to use Condemn. This skill is so useful if you and your enemy are in the right position. You don't EVER want to use Condemn when it gets the enemy out of trouble (duh!). Make sure to always use it when you are going to hit your enemy against terrain so that they are stunned. Doing so gives you extra time to knock them down even more and rack up gold.

And lastly, using your ult Final Hour is very crucial. In most cases, you want to use it right when you're about to initiate into a team fight. In other cases, you may need to use it to escape. This is a last case scenario obviously.
