Akali will kill you once she hits level six, if you are fighting her, play safe, do not let her farm.
Darius
I find fighting darius with Vladimir quite easy, just pool when he grabs you, and poke him with your Q until he gets it back, rinse and repeat.
Irelia
She is really annoying cause of her health percentage stun, Vladimir is all about keeping his health above his opponents, Irelia counters this, play safe.
Fiora
She deals true damage and can block the damage of your ult with her W. Be careful.
Gnar
Gnar is quite easy to fight with Vladimir, just wait for his rage to go up, poke him down, and try not to let him get his W's passive. DO NOT ENGAGE WHEN HE IS MEGA.
Mordekaiser
I have never fought one, but dont let him finish his 3 hit combo on you.
Nasus
Do not let him farm, whatever you do, always stay in lane if he's there, he is a monster late game with the right amount of farm.
Xin Zhao
He will burst you to death, his dash has a shorter cooldown then your W, and he has lane sustain. BEWARE
Aatrox
It is the battle of life steal, he has a knockup, a slow, and an ultimate that gives him range, play safe until you are fed..ish.
Ahri
If you can dodge her charm, she is an easy opponent, if you get hit by it, your probably dead.
Alistar
He's a support.
Amumu
If you can dodge his stun, your good, if not... have fun...
Anivia
Her only protection is her wall, which has a long cooldown, engage as much as you want, just avoid the stun.
Annie
She has a stun, 2 aoe stuns, a bear that deals a crapton of damage, and also tanks turret shots, good luck, play safe.
Ashe
She is an ADC, her ult stuns you for about 2 seconds, and her basic attacks and W slow, do not chase, and be careful.
Aurelion Sol
If he stuns you, you might have a problem. But he is mainly based around doing damage overtime, and you counter that.
Azir
He will out range you and out damage you, approach this match up with caution.
Bard
A support, but he his ult can disable the damage from yours, be careful.
Blitzcrank
If you get grabbed while his team is near him, your dead. Do not chase.
Brand
He counters champions who have a large amount of health, be careful.
Braum
A support, don't let him hit you with his Q.

An ADC with incredible range, you can pool her ultimate I believe, so save it for then while fighting her.
Cassiopeia
Slows, slows, slows, half a second cooldown on E, slows, you get the point, play safe.
Cho'Gath
His ultimate is the only thing to worry about other than his silence, I wouldn't recommend tower diving.
Corki
He out ranges you, and has multiple charges of his ultimate, however, he is squishy, so use that to your advantage.
Diana
She will burst you into nothingness if your not careful, approach with care.
Dr. Mundo
His infected cleaver does %health damage, make sure to avoid it.
Draven
He's squishy, but does a very lot of damage, use his landing zones for his axes as a way to position yourself.

You can pool his ultimate, he is a burst champion, play a bit safe, then take him on once he misses his timewinder, and you should be good.
Elise
Do not let her hit her stun, or your dead.
Evelynn
She is invisible, so you won't be able to know when she's ganking, just play safe, and buy a Vision Ward, then you can prepare for her ganks.
Ezreal
He is skill shot based, just be ready for extremely short cooldowns and loads of damage.
Fiddlesticks
He has a leash spell that will destroy you, take care.
Fizz
You can avoid his ultimate with your pool, he does missing health damage with his W's passive, be careful, and look for an opening.
Galio
He will heal more then you do when he uses his shield ability, once it ends, engage.
Gangplank
Gangplank will shoot you in the face with his gun all day, take the fight to him, and his passive still goes through the pool. Don't dive, he will just heal with an orange.
Garen
His AOE does a very lot of damage, try to avoid it. You can pool his ultimate if you have fast enough reflexes. Don't dive cause of his silence.

She will rip your soul out 500 times, then it will go on cooldown. Stand behind minions, watch out for her ult.
Janna
It's a support...
Jarvan IV
His ultimate creates a wall, you cannot pool under it, be careful if you towerdive.
Jax
He is a late game god. If you can't shut him down very early, he will destroy everyone late game.
Jayce
You can pool his Shock Blast, he can't do much against you.
Jhin
Try to engage when he is low on ammo, or is reloading, if you are low on health, try to heal up, his final shot deals missing health bonus damage.
Jinx
An ADC, watch out for her zap, you can pool her traps, and watch out for her ult.
Kalista
This is a matter of whether or not she is fed, if she is, don't 1v1 her, she will most likely win because her "Rend" goes through your pool.
Karma
Her leash spell goes through your pool, beware.
Karthus
You can dodge his ultimate with your pool, don't worry about him very much.
Kassadin
His ultimate increases damage and mana costs everytime he uses it. Be careful though, his Q can stop channels like teleport.
Katarina
She's an assassin, just wait for her to use her combo, and engage, watch out for her shumpo, as she can dash to allies and enemies.
Kayle
She has increased range, aoe damage, and a shield that grants immunity, do not tower dive. She also has a heal and a slow.
Kennen
He will burst you down very quickly, avoid her shurikens,
Kha'Zix
He has a skill shot heal, and a leap, watch out. His Q deals increased damage to target with no nearby allies. And his ult gives him invisibility.
Kindred
She deals current health damage, do not let her get her stacks if you can deny them.

LeBlanc
She will dash around and deal 1/2 your health with 2 moves, watch out.
Lee Sin

Leona
She is a support with a very lot of stuns.
Lissandra
She does a lot of burst damage, just beware.
Lucian
You can pool a portion of his ultimate, wait until the end if you can so you are more likely to live.
Lux
Her snare is a small problem, mainly cause you can still use your abilities, if you think she is going to kill you, pool.
Lulu
Do not tower dive, she will turn you into a rabbit and you will die.
Malphite
Watch out for his spinning rock of death, it will do a lot of damage, and he will do crazy amounts of burst damage, if he seems like he is going to fight, check rivers, the jungler is likely ganking.
Malzahar
His ultimate does max health damage and stuns you, have fun. His Q also silences, so don't tower dive him.
Maokai
He will heal damage with his passive, he is tanky and can kill minions quickly with his Q, do not tower dive as he can root you.
Master Yi
Like Jax, Master Yi is a late game god, he dominates late game, deny him farm, and do not let him get fed.
Miss Fortune
You can pool her ultimate.
Morgana
When she snares you, just be careful, cause she most likely will follow up with her tormented soil, her ultimate goes through your pool.
Nami
A support, watch out for her ultimate however, as it will do a decent amount of damage.
Nidalee
Her spear's hit box is not very accurate, it also does a very, very lot of damage.
Nautilus
His grab, riptide combo is brutal, and his basic attacks stun you every couple seconds, beware. I wouldn't recommend tower diving.

He does a very lot of damage very quick, however, he can't target you with his ultimate if you pool.
Nunu & Willump
You can pool his ultimate, this shouldn't be very difficult.
Olaf
He gains life steal as his health gets lower, be careful when he uses his ultimate, he cannot be slowed, stunned, or snared.
Orianna
Her ability where she moves her orb is on a long cooldown early game, use this to your advantage.
Pantheon
He has a point and click stun, and a point and click spear that crits enemies below 15% health. Do not tower dive.
Poppy
Do not let her hit her stun, if she does, your most likely going to die.
Quinn
High mobility, extremely burst and sustain damage, and a vision aoe. Yup, this isn't going to be fun.
Rammus
Do not tower dive, he will taunt you and you will die. Other then that, just wait for him to use his defensive curl, and wait it out.
Rek'Sai
Rek Sai is sustain damage, with a knockup, watch out early game, but she's easy to deal with later on.
Renekton
Kinda like Nasus, his ultimate gives him insane amounts of damage and health, and he has a stun. Do not tower dive.
Rengar
He is extremely bursty, but thats all he's got. You can just pool.
Riven
Her ultimate will destroy you if you lose a trade, be ready to pool away from it, do not tower dive due to her AOE stun and shield dash.
Rumble
He will walk up to you with his flamethrower going, gives you the change to special Q then E him. Easy Matchup, tower dive if you must, but beware his shield and slow.
Ryze
He will snare you, then spam his abilities, just beware. Do not tower dive.
Sejuani
She is extremely tanking, does boat loads of damage, and just so happens to have 4 slows, and 1 stun. So yeah, don't tower dive.

He is burst, you can just pool everything, just don't expect a lot of kills.
Shen
Extremely tanky and does max health damage, be careful when fighting this guy. He has a taunt so I wouldn't recommend tower diving.
Shyvana
She has an AOE, and a few ranged moves, other then that, your fine. Watch out for when she uses her ultimate into the middle of your team. Tower dive if she has low rage, and you know you can kill her.
Singed
Singed is the champion that requires you chase him, don't chase him, and you will be fine.
Sion
Sion has a slow, a movement spell, and a knockup, do not tower dive and be ready for him to come back to life from his passive.
Sivir
She can spell shield your Q, don't tower dive, she can also spell shield your E and ultimate.
Skarner
He isn't viable anymore, just watch out for his ult, don't tower dive.

She does extreme burst damage, and her ultimate causes everyone to dance who gets hit by it. Tower dive if you want.
Soraka
She is a support revolved around healing her team. She is almost going to be low health.
Swain
He has a leash spell, so he already counters you in a way, don't tower dive as he has a snare.
Syndra
Syndra does really high burst damage, but you can pool all of it, including her ult.
Tahm Kench
He has a slow, a stun, and can eat you doing max health damage, play a bit safe in this match up.
Taliyah
She is very Q oriented, so just dodge her rocks, and your good.

He has extremely high burst, but you can just pool all of his attacks. Tower dive if you must.
Taric
A support, watch out for his ultimate, as it makes everyone invincible who gets hit by it(allies only).
Teemo
His toxic shot and teemo shrooms damage go through your pool, but that's it, his blinding dart disintegrates and you can't step on teemo shrooms while in pool form.
Thresh
A support with a fancy hook, don't get grabbed, and your good.
Tristana
When she buys a bloodthirster, you are most likely going to lose, be careful.
Trundle
His ultimate goes through your pool, just be aware of that.
Tryndamere
He does so much damage, and has a slow, and an ultimate that makes him unable to die, play it safer for this matchup.
Twisted Fate
His yellow card will stun you for a while, so do not tower dive.
Twitch
He will out damage you, and his poison will also destroy you, only fight with your team there.
Udyr
Other then his stun, this matchup isn't very difficult.
Urgot
Do not go near his tower if he hasn't used his ultimate yet. He will use his ultimate, and you will take at least 1 turret shot, and possibly use pool. Other then that, this match up is decent difficulty.
Varus
He has an ult that snares you, and a Q that does decent damage. This matchup isn't very fair cause you can just pool his ultimate.
Vayne
She deals max health true damage, and can go invisible with her ultimate, beware, and dont fight near walls, or else you'll be stunned.
Veigar
Even after the rework, veigar is quite possibly the most overpowered champion right next to akali, I say that cause late game, if your half health, his ult will kill you. Play with caution. You can pool his Event Horizon.
Vel'Koz
He is on the easier side of the mid lane matchups, just avoid his skill shots, and your golden.
Vi
She is a tank shredder with high mobility, watch out for her ganks with her ult, I believe you can pool her ultimate if you time it correctly.
Viktor
He will poke you to death with his laser, and then stun you under his tower, do not tower dive.
Zyra
She is like heimerdinger, except slightly less overpowered because her ultimate only deals damage once. Be care when tower diving.
Volibear
He will destroy you, he has more health, and when he gets low, he has a very high health regen. DO not tower dive.
Warwick
He has more sustain then you, and also has a silence/stun. You will most likely lose.
Wukong
He deals extreme burst damage, and has a clone, watch out.
Xerath
He has an extremely long range, but once you get close to him, he only has a skill shot stun.
Yasuo
You can still hit him with your Q through his windwall. However, his shield will negate the damage, but not the heal.
Yorick
His ghouls do most of his damage, you can heal off them though, so just play a bit safer until you get ultimate.
Zed
He is an assassin, when he uses his ultimate, watch out, you have to pool before his shadows hit you, or else the mark will go through.
Zac
He uses health like you, however, he heals for less, use this to your advantage.
Ziggs
Skill shot based, you can dodge his ultimate with your pool.
Zilean
Do not let him hit his stun, his ultimate brings back allies who die, and him. Watch out for the hourglasses to see if killing him is going to work.
Vladimir
This is a mirror match, whoever messes up first, losses.
This is a Vladimir guide I made to share my knowledge of the Blood Reaver with you guys. I hope you find this useful, and let's get to the guide.
Who am I?
Who am I?
Hello, I am moonfang158, and I'm a level 7 Vladimir main, I started league in season 6, I used to be a support main, then I decided I should try to find other lanes, so I chose top, I looked through all the champions to play, and then I saw Vladimir. I bought him, and I've mained him ever since. My favorite things to do with him is turn a gank into a double kill. I have done it many times and it is very enjoyable. I hope you find this guide useful.

Vladimir's Passive is Crimson Pact, for every 40 points of bonus health, Vladimir gains 1 AP, and for every 1 AP, Vladimir gains 1.4 bonus health. However, the AP and Health stacking only come from runes, masteries, and items, the passive does not stack with itself.
Cooldown - 9/8/7/6/5
Vladimir's Q is transfusion, he drains the blood of his enemy, dealing 80/100/120/140/160 (+60% AP) magic damage, and healing himself for 15/25/35/45/55(+ 35% AP) (The heal is only 35% as effective against minions). After Vladimir has casted his Q twice, it becomes empowered, giving him the buff "Crimson Rush" for 2.5 seconds once his Q becomes available again. Once it is available, Vladimir gains a small burst of speed, and makes his next Q deal 85% bonus magic damage, and also causes it to heal him for 30-200 (Levels 1-18)(4% missing health per 100 AP).
Cooldown - 28/25/22/19/16
Vladimir's W is Sanguine Pool. Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood, taking (20% of current health), and becoming untargetable for 2 seconds, he also gains a 37.5% movement speed buff for 1 second which rapidly decays. While in sanguine pool, Vladimir is still able to move, cast summoner spells, and use items. It deals 20/33.75/47.5/61.25/75(+2.5% bonus health) magic damage every half second, and heals Vladimir for 15% of the damage while slowing enemies above by 40%.
Cooldown - 13/11/9/7/5
Vladimir's E is Tides Of Blood. Vladimir charges up a reservoir of blood, taking 2.5%-8%(based on charge duration) of his maximum health to increase the damage of this ability (Charges over 1 second). Upon releasing(or after 1.5 seconds), Vladimir unleashes a nova of blood to all enemies within range, dealing between 30/45/60/75.90(+35% AP)(+2.5% max health) and 60/90/120/150/180 (+100% AP)(+6% max health) magic damage. It also slows Vladimir when fully charged, however, it also slows enemies hit. This ability can be blocked by minions.
Cooldown - 150/135/120
Vladimir's Ultimate is Hemoplague. Vladimir infects the target area with a plague, affected enemies take 10% increased damage for 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, enemies hit by Vladimir's ultimate will take 150/250/350(+70% AP), and Vladimir is healed for the same amount(healing is increased by 50% for each additional champion hit past the first).
Pros / Cons
Pros / Cons
Pros -Great Lane Sustain -Amazing damage potential -Ult can turn the tide of a battle -Very dangerous if left alone -Great Escape -Short Cooldowns late game -Uncommon so not many people know how to counter
Cons -Very likely to be ganked -Squishier early on -Relies on healing -Countered by items -Long cool downs early on -Countered by leash spells -The item executioners calling exists
Runes
Runes
Runes
Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
Building AP gives Vladimir more health, and health gives you AP. The more health and AP you take in runes, the more effective your passive is. And since you build 40% CDR anyways, you don't need any in runes.
Spells
Spells
I always take summoner spells teleport and flash.
The reason I take teleport with Vladimir in top lane, is that I prefer it. It also allows great late game teleports. Vladimir is an amazing champion in team fights, so teleport allows you to go to a ward/minion, and use your ultimate to help with the team fight.
I take flash on almost all my champions. I take it on Vladimir for the escapes, kills, and just to help my team by using flash, then ultimate into everyone. It is also good for tower diving.
Team Fights
Team Fights
Ok, so here is where Vladimir excels. Vladimir is an amazing team fighter due to his tides of blood and his ultimate hemoplague. If your team is winning a team fight, just keep doing what your doing, however, if your team is losing, or, the team fight just started, you can do many differant options. You can flash in and cast hemoplague, or you can just cast hemoplague if you are in range. Another thing you can do in team fights, is initiate. Vladimir's kit allows him to initiate team fights very well, he can easily take down 2-3 people if Vladimir's ultimate is used correctly.
Farming
Farming
Farming with Vladimir is a little bit difficult early game, but late game it is quite easy. Early game just use your transfusion to pick off the minions with low health, and basic attack the other ones when your transfusion is on cooldown. You can use tides of blood as well, however the health cost is not always worth the farm and can, and will kill you sometimes.
The End
The End
Thank you guys so much for reading my guide and I hope you enjoyed it. I also hope very much that this guide will help you all get better at Vladimir, and will also help make him more popular.
