Introduction

Most people think of Warwick as the "Oh My Lord!" guy, and there's a reason for that, because with a proper build, and a decent player, he becomes the most destructive HYBRID, in the game. That's right, not just DPS like most carries, but his abilities are EXTREMELY useful. So sit down and read up on why Warwick is the king of damage, and you will make your enemies cry.

Lore

Warwick counted himself amongst the most powerful and revered men in his home city-state of Zaun. Over the course of his infamous career as an alchemist, Warwick won many honors for his craft, not the least of which was a lucrative offer for service in the Noxian military during their campaigns against Ionia. Sequestered in his labs far from the front lines, Warwick and his apprentice Singed toiled relentlessly to manufacture all manner of appalling concoctions for the Noxian army. So potent was his art that even the greatest of Ionia's healers - under the leadership of the Starchild Soraka - struggled to combat the poisons and chemical weapons generated by his despicable mind. Warwick's reign of terror grew so horrific that his very name became a curse in the eyes of his Ionian foes, and they began referring to him only as ''the Deathmaker.''

But even one under the protection of the Noxian High Command is not wholly beyond the reach of retribution. For as Soraka strode across the myriad of death and destruction left in the wake of one of Warwick's chemical attacks, her heart finally gave way. She called down the wrath of the cosmos on Warwick, wishing that his form should mirror the cruelty in his heart - a curse that would come at the price of her aspiring divinity. Within his laboratory, a terrible thirst took hold over Warwick. As his apprentice looked on in horror, Warwick threw open the doors to his bastion and sprinted off toward parts unknown, a bloodcurdling howling marking his passage. He had become a werewolf; a wild, murderous beast. Today, the Blood Hunter fights for Noxus within the League of Legends... thankful of the curse that his now-mortal enemy bestowed upon him.

Runes

Okay okay, I know you're wondering, what the hell is with those Runes??? and there's one simple answer, don't always think of Warwick as a DPS. Damage is very important though, so the beginning AD is helpful, but one of the downfalls is that you become mana dependent, very quickly, so you need extra mana, and later on, having a low cooldown on your ult and other abilities makes you spam-able and extremely annoying.

Masteries

And again, I know what you're thinking, "why do you have magic pen???" Well, simple answer is that it allows your Q to take out huge chunks of health, allowing you to walk away like nothing happened. You also want at least a little extra mana for later, you may also be thinking,"well if he's not only a DPS, why is almost everything in physical?", this is because it gives a little bit of everything and gives better overall damage, even to your abilities. But this is what works best for ME, if you think something is better, try it out, see how you do.

Items

Okay, remember how I said that you're not only DPS? Well this is where it comes into play. Mainly with Nashor's Tooth and Sorcerer's Shoes. Sorcerer's Shoes gives even more of that amazing magic pen, which will wreak havoc upon all those who get in your way. And Nashor's Tooth does three amazing things, first it gives you attack speed, which is awesome for you if you want to do damage when your abilities are on cooldown, but thats where part two comes in, it gives you 25% cooldown reduction. In the end, your ult has a cooldown of about 45 seconds, which is amazing. Trust me, you will be all over the map, doing damage like its no ones business. And lastly it gives a nice little AP boost to do just that extra kick of Damage, giving you a little more health back. Now the Warmog's at Atma's are replacable with what you want most, personally, the extra armor and health are nice to have. You can easily replace them with Wit's End, Black Cleaver, all depending on the situation.

Skill Sequence

This should be pretty clear, since you are going hybrid, not DPS, you shouldn't focus everything on AS, but give it some when you can, you end up biting your opponents to pieces.

Pros / Cons

Pros
Can do extreme amounts of damage to almost any player, and can be highly adaptable to any situation.
His sustain will keep you in lane far longer than any other character, so long sometimes I need to go back only because I have too much money, not to little health.
He can jungle with no problem, and can get dragon solo fairly early.
Cons
Unfortunately, you cant do much killing until you get your ult
The build itself is kind of pricey, so be sure to do a lot of last hitting
and because you don't have range, you can be harassed fairly easily by Ashe and other ranged characters.
