Ablities




Lux's damaging spells mark any enemies with light energy for 6 seconds. Her autoattacks or Final Spark Final Spark will consume the mark, dealing 10 + (8 × Lux's level) (+ 20% AP) magic damage to the target.

Mystic Barrage Says
Try to proc the passive after each spell during smaller trades in mid lane for more effective fighting, however don'put yourself at risk to proc it. This really boosts your damage that extra bit.

Light Binding
RANGE: 1175 COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 MANA COOLDOWN: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11
ACTIVE: Lux releases a sphere of light in a line, striking up to two enemy units along its path. It deals magic damage to the first enemy it touches and half that damage to a second enemy behind it. Additionally, the first enemy struck is Root icon rooted for 2 seconds, and the second enemy is Root icon rooted for 1 second.
MISSILE SPEED: 1200
MAGIC DAMAGE: 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+ 70% AP)
SECOND TARGET MAGIC DAMAGE: 30 / 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 (+ 35% AP)

Mystic Barrage Says
This can help to secure kills when the jungler ganks, it can also hit 2 targets and make it easier to land your Final Spark in combination with Lucent Singularity. This is also your best escape method as it is a considerably longer snare. Just keep in mind this does not cancel Katarina's Death Lotus

Prismatic Barrier
RANGE: 1075 COST: 60 MANA COOLDOWN: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10
ACTIVE: Lux shields herself for up to 3 seconds and throws out her wand in a line, applying the same shield to allied champions in its path. Her wand then returns to her, again shielding allied champions in its path and Lux herself upon return. When reapplied, the shield does not stack, but is refreshed.
MISSILE SPEED: 1400

Mystic Barrage Says
This is a shield which can be used to win many trades especially in early levels where when the shield returns it is quite a big surprise for enemies, it is also quite strong against Ignite as it blocks it off twice. In late game it is very important thank you shield your ADC with this as it can save them as much as a Shen's Stand United. The more teammates you hit with this ability the more likely you are to win the fight. It can also scout brushes and give vision.

Lucent Singularity
RANGE: 1100 COST: 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130 MANA COOLDOWN: 10
ACTIVE: Lux sends an anomaly of twisted light to a target area, Slow icon slowing enemies within 300-range and granting sight of a slightly larger area for up to 5 seconds.
SLOW: 20 / 24 / 28 / 32 / 36%
At the end of the duration or if Lucent Singularity is activated again, the zone will detonate and deal magic damage to enemies in the area.
MAGIC DAMAGE: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 60% AP)

Mystic Barrage Says
This is your bread and butter spell, it makes all your other spells easier to land and has an AOE slow. This can help you escape sticky situations, it is also good for poke and can be reactivated instantly. This can also be used to check brushes. Another thing is that it is a very effective zoning tool much like Orianna's Ball.

Final Spark
RANGE: 3340 COST: 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 80 / 65 / 50
ACTIVE: After gathering energy for half a second, Lux fires a broad and long-range beam of light in a line that deals magic damage to all enemies in the area.
MAGIC DAMAGE: 300 / 400 / 500 (+ 75% AP)
Any enemies that are already marked by Illumination.png Illumination have it ignited for additional magic damage, then re-applied.

Mystic Barrage Says
Your ultimate is a low cooldown, long range nuke which can be used for a multitude of things, such as clearing waves, securing kills and stealing buffs and dragons. This is also very good at catching out opponent who are under tower or recalling. A special feature about this spell is that it procs your Illumination and then reapplies it for you to auto attack it for even more damage.

Warding Key Areas

These are the main areas to ward, you should ward dragon as it is a very important objective. The two other green wards not only protects your jungle but they also help you keep from any ganks coming from to the side or from behind you. This limits the enemy to lane ganks unless they are playing Shaco, he will have [[decieve so put your pink ward nearby to spot him.

Early Game

Early game you want to be using your auto attacks to farm, however you can use your Lucent Singularity combo'd with some autos to push faster. During lane phase you should also try to harass the enemy with Lucent Singularity and using your passive Illumination to win trades. If you can hit your Light Binding combo it with a quick auto attack and Lucent Singularity followed with another auto to completely chunk the enemy. You can also use Prismatic Barrier to win trades early, however it is not very strong. I find it best when you can shield DOT damage. (Damage over time)

Mid Game

Mid game you should be abusing your Lucent Singularity to shove the wave. Once the wave has been shoved your objective should be to get objectives and kills for your team. You can do this by roaming, Lux is a very good champ at this as she has two CC abilities. Try to ping your bot lane / top lane to go in while you try to hit a light binding. If you hit it combo it with a auto and Lucent Singularity followed by and Final Spark and Ignite. (This will usually kill the enemy)

Late Game

Late game your objective on Lux is to poke the enemy and keep yourself and the AD carry alive. You can do this by spamming your Lucent Singularity on the enemy. If your lucky enough to be dived on use your Prismatic Barrier and try to hit as many allies as possible. Your best chance is to use your Light Binding and run away. If your lucky enough to engage on them try to hit your Light Binding on the enemy and follow it up with a Lucent Singularity and Final Spark to instakill a squishy. POKE/KILL/CATCH

During Teamfights

During teamfights your objective is to hit as much AOE abilities as you can while also keeping yourself and the ADC alive. Use your Light Binding to catch out opponents and kill them, you can also use your Lucent Singularity to zone the enemy.
