Generally most ahris are pretty easy to beat, just be sure to Windwall her charm if she goes in.
Akali
Akali is a beast, her sustain and extra damage from her Q and passive is too much especially after she gets some kills
Anivia
Anivia is a pain the butt to fight, if you can Windwall her Q and E you should be alright but she is still one of the tougher champs to beat as Yasuo.
Annie
Annie is one of the toughest eneimes to fight against, her point and click stuns and massive burst is often too much for Yasuo.
Aurelion Sol
Sol is pretty easy to fight, most often hes pretty passive so just out farm him and poke with your Q, when hes close use E to dash within his stars and that should be enough to beat him
Azir
Azir has a lot of range on you and with his soliders poking you it will be a pain to fight him, he also has his ult to push you back/into his turret or teammates so be careful of that.
Brand
Brand is a skill match up, if you can windwall his Q and use your E to dash out of his W you should be ok
Cassiopeia
Cass is a tougher champ to fight, she has a lot of damage in a short time and her W stops you from dashing, just dash away from her Q and windwall her E as well as get hexdrinker and Adaptive helm.
Cho'Gath
Cho is pretty easy to beat early levels but once he gets AP, Health and Armor you gotta be careful. Dash from his knock up and his silence and be careful of his ult.
Ekko
Ekko is a skill match up you can windwall his Q dash out of range for his W and E.
Fizz
Fizz is a harder match up due to his kit, try to bait out his E before going in. In addition you CAN windwall his ult.
Heimerdinger
Heimer is a very interesting champion to play against, he's good at zoning with his turrets but you can dash through them as well as windwall the turrets.
Karma
Karma is a pain to play against with her constant poking and W healing if she goes tank Karma, just Windwall her Q and dash away from her tether.
Katarina
Kat is one of the tougher match ups due to how much she can jump around and her burst. Windwall her Q and knock her up when she ults.
Kayle
With Kayle you have to poke her a lot with your Q as well as windwall her slow. Try to keep track of her ult before you go in.
Kennen
With how often kennen can stun you it makes it a pain to fight him, avoid going in or being poked with his passive autoattack and windwall his q.
LeBlanc
Caution is needed when fighting LB, she has a lot of burst however you can Windwall her Q and E which will reduce her burst
Lux
Lux is a easier skill match up, because lux is all skill shots you can block everything but her ult with your Windwall, you just have to be careful when your windwall is down.
Malzahar
Malz is a difficult champ to play against, he can lock you down with his ult and with his kit you cant windwall anything.
Mordekaiser
DO NOT FIGHT MORDE ALONE, he is one of the hardest counters for Yasuo. You will need your Jungler to help you fight him.
Orianna
Ori is difficult just due to how much burst she has through out the entire game, you can dash away from her ball but you gotta be quick
Ryze
Ryze is a bit tougher due to his kit, but mainly his point and click root. To beat him all you have to do is save your windwall until you are rooted.
Swain
Swain is an easy opponent pre level 6, however when he hits 6 thats when the problems occur. When getting close to level 6 buy an executioners
Syndra
Syndra is a skill match up, try to avoid her balls and use your windwall to block her ult and her stun.
Taliyah
Tali is a tough opponent due to her overall kit, her W hurts you when you dash through and she has a displacement that you cannot block. Use your windwall to block her Q which is a good portion of her damage
Talon
Due to his burst its hard to fight against him, try to windwall his Q before going in. Also his Parkour its hard to keep him from escaping.
Twisted Fate
Twisted Fate is relatively easy to fight, all of his abilites are blockable with your Windwall. Try to dodge his 3 card toss (Q) and save windwall for his stun card.
Veigar
Veigar is a skill match up however it is in your favor due to you being able to block his Q and his ult. In addition to that you can use minions or enemy champs to dash out of his cage before its up.
Vel'Koz
Vel is a skill match up, if you can dodge or windwall his abilites you should be able to fight him, you CANNOT windwall his ult or his knockup
Viktor
Due to viktor having such high burst potention all game he is pretty hard to fight, if you can block his lazer with your Windwall and poke him down with your tornado you could have a chance to fight him.
Vladimir
Due to Vlad's kit he has a ton of sustain throughout the laning phase which makes it extremely hard to go all in, try to bait out his W before going all in as well as get a executioners very early.
Xerath
Xerath is pretty hard to beat due to you not being able to block all his abilies but his stun, he will poke you down before you get a chance to get close to him. Get as fast as possible and try to avoid everything. Save windwall for when going in to block his stun.
Yasuo
This is a skill match up, save your windwall for its up, as well as try to do the E + Q combo for better chances of getting your ult off. To have better chances of winning get Statikk then Ninja.
Zed
Pretty easy if you can dodge his Q and save your windwall when he ults, try to toss it out last second before his Q's hit you.
Ziggs
Ziggs is a bit harder to beat just due to the range he has on yasuo and his ability to get away with his W. If you can windwall his Q and E you should be able to fight him if you can get close.
Zilean
Zil is very easy to fight, all his damage is his Q's so if you save your windwall for when he slows you and tries to toss bombs on you it will be in your favor.
Zyra
Zyra is pretty easy, if you can windwall her plants projectiles and her root you will be in good shape to beat her.
From my experience and through some high plat and diamond buddies statikk provides a lot more burst then Phantom Dancer. In the current meta you need more burst then survivabilty. Another reason is that the damage that statikk provides scales with your crit damage so with IE it does quite a bit of damage. Finally the cost of statikk is cheaper than PD so you can deal more damage for a lower cost.

When you have teammate with a lot of knock ups, you do NOT need to go in every time they knock up someone. You have to be smart and think though the situation and its outcome before ulting on team knockups if you don't it will lead to disaster and throws. Another thing you should not do when playing Yasuo is to just toss out your tornado every time its up, Yasuo has the combo of E + Q (you must have a stack on q before doing this) which allows him to dash through eneimes then knock them up without having to toss out a tornado.
