Introduction

Welcome to my guide of Zed, the Shadow Assassin. He is (in my opinion) the most useful assassin in the game so i wanted to make a build for him.

Pros and Cons

PROS
_ Has energy instead of mana
_ High poke
_ High harrass
_ In-build escape and gap-closer skill
_ Very good at wave cleaning
_ High damage capacity
_ Fun to play

CONS
_ Skills have high cost (can not spam them, specially Shadow Slash [E] is a energy trap with that low cool-down)
_ Melee
_ Weak at early game, can only poke
_ Needs good items for duing a job

Skills

Contempt for The Weak
Just what you need as an assassin.

Razor Shuriken [Q]:
Hard to land but a really great poke & harrass skill.

Living Shadow [W]:
Really good at gap-closing and escaping. Can dodge all skill shots. Lets you jump over the trees.

Shadow Slash [E]:
Has a good slow if used with Living Shadow, good at wave clearing.

Death Mark [R]:
Can avoid some of the attacking skills. A really good skill for catching the running champions. Also a really good finishing skill.

Combos

W + Q: Regular poke

W + Q + E: Burst combo if the opponent cant escape (stunned or between you and your shadow)

Ignite + R + W + Q + E + Blade of the Ruined King: Easy kill if you have enough AD

Flash + W + W (Teleport) + R + Normal attack or Q or E or Blade of the Ruined King or Ignite: Catching the ones with low hp running away from the team fight and making the last hit

How to Play

_ Just poke until lv 6
_ Focus if jungler is there for a gang
_ Do not use Living Shadow if you do not know where the opponent jungler is
_ Keep poking and start harrassing at the mid game
_ Start focusing for kills if you are better than / same with the opponent after you complete your core items
_ Focus for the carriers (AD first, AP second) at the team fights and do not go recklessly
_ Wait at the back of the Baron/Dragon if someone tries to steal it from the back and use your Living Shadow to prevent that
_ Do not go in the frontlines, jump over the enemy to reach the carriers and finish them with the least damage, so you can focus for the jungler, tank or support and help your team to win the game in an instant or try to get a pentakill
_ Stay away from the champions with crowd control
