I have been trying to upload my LoL Replay game to youtube, however their is technical difficulty. But Everything will be okay because I promise you that I will keep trying to show you that this build is epic, and will carry games, i just hope you will be patient until i finally get everything back on track.
My rune build is for a stronger early game, which is pretty much the most valuable time of the game. Since you start with Boots of Speed the runes will easily make up for the lack of early game AP.
My masteries are not what everyone decides to use, however my masteries make you more strong for 1v1 in the mid lane in ranked games. This is my preferance for the 1v1 mid lane, choose whichever masteries youd like.
I build Rylais for survival and CC since ziggs doesn't have extremely powerful cc. You might think that a Rod of Ages is a more viable early game pick, however it doesn't give the survivability that a Rylai's will (that extra slow added to your mines CRIPPLES players) Everything else is pretty much what any AP carry would build, the last 2 items are recommended since they give ability power and tankyness, i kid you not these items do help out late game!
You guys are probably thinking, Why clarity instead of ignite? Well when you play ziggs you normally are out of range for ignite, and since Ziggs is a mana hungry champion(eats through it quickly) it helps by giving him a mana sustain crutch, and since we build barely any mana items with my build we'll be going out of mana quickly on ziggs, so clarity is basically the best pick for this Ziggs build. Flash is just so useful when your being ganked, a well placed satchel charge and flash(if needed) will save you from exploding everytime.
Bouncing bomb - Excellent harass, and use it to hit multiple enemy champions at once, you can even throw a bouncing bomb from the jungle to an enemy in lane.
Satchel charge - save this to explode over the wall or create a gap between you and a melee chasing you.
Hexplosive Minefield - I usually throw this right on the champion, or where the champion is bound to go, either way it allows me to get a bouncing bomb or two.
Mega Inferno Bomb - Use this as a finisher on champions with low health, i also use this when a melee closes distance and i cant get away, i just basically toss this, my minefield, and bouncing bombs and a satchel charge behind him so when he runs i can get a couple seconds to toss a bouncing bomb.
Ranked Gameplay: With Ziggs you should be focusing on champions clustered together, the more the merrier, this is because ziggs does area damage and with 1-2 bouncing bombs dealing 300-600 a piece, that can win the fight, when all champions are low use mega inferno bomb and use a hexplosive minefield to block off an exit, i honestly never use satchel charge unless im being chased do to this being ziggs main escape.
Your jungler should help you get blue buff when it respawns, and since the blue buff gives you high mana regen allowing you to throw a bomb barrage and allowing you to use clarity when you absolutely need to! Ziggs can also throw bombs over walls to last hit champions or surprise them with a extra hit for harass. If you go Mia feel free to toss a heart warming present over the jungle wall at your target.
