I just don't like tight slender ones, all others are fine (pick cool one ^^) Shape and size? Just regular ones banners - max width of the guide (guide - top banner higher than regular title ones) signature - standart All can be square, can be not :) (prefer curved corners - big top banner) Well guess that's all, hope I included all valuable informations for you.
