I jungle, so i usually get blue buff, but after laning phase, the blue buff is always taken by our mages like ziggs, brand and the like. i go triforce, i even have philo-HoG combo. i havent tried trading my armor yellows for mana regen/lvl yellows. there was one game though that i used chalice, went great but i cant have that item for a long time.

I play skarner a lot. I had some problems with low mana too. I'm giving all our blue buffs to my mid i'm taking only first one. In mid game skarner is strong enough to jungle without spaming your Q and E, if you will not spam this skill on minions too much you should be ok with your mana.
You will have enough mana to fight with enemy champions. Greetz Piter |
