Udyr, a great split-pusher & dueler. I can rip out carries & even tanks 1v1 once I get close to them. But I occasionally play him now because he's easily kiteable and I get shutdown in teamfights before even reaching their carry because they always have an escape mechanism.
E.G. Ezrael (especially one with Iceborn Gauntlet), Caitlyn, Vayne, Le' Blanc, Ahri.
OR this might just be me not being able to use Udyr to his utmost potential.

ALthough it hasn't been a long time I haven't been playing Katarina like I want to...

Sona used to be my favourite support, but for whatever reason I just cannot play her well anymore. Probably because I went a while without playing her much, maining mid and playing a load of other supports when I did go bot, so now, aside from my skill with her having dropped, the level of skill to be "even" or higher has also raised. I can't really bring myself to play her because I feel like I should be able to do well with her but don't, causing frustration.
I've not really had anything I play become a weak pick. There are usually higher tier champs which I own but do not play, simply out of lack of interest. So far as winning goes, I'm better off playing Orianna than Ahri unless the team comps call for Ahri because I'm just much more experienced with Ori.

Has any other MOBAfireian felt like their main is not the best pick despite wanting to play them? Do you pick better champions because you want to maximize the probability of victory, or do you disregard everything and keep playing him/her/it because you like the champion?
