The program "LoL-Starter" allows you to switch between the US and EU server(You still need an account on the realm to play on it).
It modifies the Launcher.cfg, which is possible due to the new Client. I tried it and it works very fine for me, thought I'd share this:

You need an account to play on US or EU ofc, the program only changes the Launcher.cfg, so that you can connect to US/EU.
