Wrong actually.
1) Many Slavic languages don't use Cyrillic script (azbuka).
2) I can say that 'Да' isn't 'yes' at least in Czech (ano), Slovak (áno) and Polish language(tak).
3) Anyway "vodka vodka communism vodka vodka vodka comrade vodka vodka lenin vodka" is a sentence that everyone understands too well even in those languages;) (...and even when 'comrade' and 'communism' are English and not Russian words).

But... we used to replay 'Да' to anything said in Russian for 40 years, so it could be a part of our languages now;)
