So considering it was multiple accounts being compromised, am I correct in assuming the hack was on your side of the client? When I discussed this with Mowen we couldn't directly identify the source (no viruses and according to Mowen no brute force either) so I assumed the crack went through my League acc.
Dayum, I was afraid as hell with my guide with millions of views suddenly disappeared xD
Thank you so much for this fast thread. I really hope you can backup fast the site. If i were you I would turn off the commendations to avoid badges not appearing after it.
We'll be patient. Hope this can't happen again!

I'm just glad that nothing integral was ruined. Some people are just d*cks. Thoughts are with Matt, Flash and the team who will have to clean all this mess up :/
How were they compromised? Is this a breach on MOBAFire's end and should I be worried about attackers knowing my password in any way (I suppose I should anyway, given this is all HTTP? I'm really bad with this stuff)? How are passwords stored? Does the admin account give access to (my) account information?
Thanks for the quick notification!

We have guide backups, so the worst case scenario is that you may lose any changes made in the last 24 hours. However, it will take us some time to recover these guides and figure out what happened. We are truly, deeply sorry for this inconvenience.
We are actively working on the recovery. I have a pot of coffee brewing as I type this.
We will post more information as we have it. It may take some time.
