Hello everyone and welcome to the first Riot news compilation post, where we give you a quick overview of the news content created by Riot in the past couple of days. Today, we have a bunch of posts regarding the recent Bilgewater event, a (completed) Q & A with Morello and a champion and skin sale post. Let's go!
Wait, hold on, a compilation post?
That's right! Seeing as this is the first post like this (of which hopefully many will follow), we'd like to take a moment to share our intent with this idea and give you guys an opportunity to provide some feedback.
For a while now, our newsfeed has basically consisted of copies of Riot posts + our own patch summaries & MOBAFire reports. However, we have at times cut down the number of posts that were copied from the Riot news page to prevent our newsfeed from becoming "spammy". On top of that, we've also received several messages of members about specific series of news posts which they felt were not worthy of being featured individually on the front page.
To tackle both of these issues while still providing those of you who are interested with all the available news, we have decided to combine some of the Riot news posts from now on, giving you all a quick overview of anything you may have missed out on without spamming the Activity Feed (to clarify, this means some of the posts will still be posted separately; check the spoiler below for the full overview).
For now, the plan is to make these posts twice a week (this ensures we won't be posting about a champion and skin sale after it is already over, for example).
This change has been on the agenda for quite a while, so we hope you like it. If you have any questions or concerns, make sure to leave them in the comments below!
