So I was wondering how alacrity worked. Say for example you have an attack speed of 2 hit/sec. Does alacrity turn it into 2.08(2 * 1.04)? In which case isn't that nearly worthless?

i don't know how they calculate as off the top of my head, but it isn't that great a bonus anyway, its only on the second level of offensive masteries. the 4% cdr is a much better choice.

It's flat attack speed.

whatever your attack speed is, it adds 4% of that.
Not really a very useful stat, but it's nice sugar on top of any build that can afford it.

As Jun said. It is flat 4%.

This is additive stat so if you get for example Bloodrazor with 40% AS, with Aclarity you will have 44%.
