League of Legends (LoL) Question: Why did Nidalee become a jungler?

Why did Nidalee become a jungler?

So i know that the recent patch let nidalee hunt monsters and i could see how that would be useful for her in the jungle but is there anything specific that made tons of people start trying her in jungle?

Is it just because she can now get bonus damage on them with Q and stuff like that because of hunting? Or has she been a lurking jungler since she got cougar form at level 1 waiting for a buff to bring her out of the shadows?

She has insanely low cooldowns and can disengage + reengage in an instant with the reset on her R.

She's extremely mobile with her W.

She has a lot of burst early on with her combo

These give her a really strong early game, which she can snowball really easily.

Before the buffs she had slight trouble transitioning from the initial clear, which was arguably abusable. With the hunt buff she can clear much easier, which exemplify her other advantages.

To be fair, she already could jungle with ease before these changes and now they made her stronger. There was already high elo peeps sporting her in the jungle even before this buff.

Also she clears fast. I've seen people get trailblazer, but I find chilling smite makes it pretty hard for you to miss the jav + coungar pounce into QE, which deals ******ed amounts of damage.

The Hunt change was the thing that made her pretty perfect. It allows her to deal so much more damage in so little time.

but she's had that. Is it the hunt changes that really brought her forward as a jungler? or has she always been there and i just haven't noticed it?

I played jungle nida a bit before the jungle changes and it was ridiculous since the mobs died super quickly. A q > w > Q combo could easily bring one target (player or otherwise) down from half to 0. Not to mention, she's extremely mobile and can easily ambush other junglers. Now that she can clear again there's really no reason not to play her in the jungle since instead of shutting down 1 lane, she can shut down all 3 >D

If I said it once I said it a million times. Nidalee jungle doesnt work. To play Nidalee in any lane you need ridiculous mechanics and precision, she is just not worth the effort. She is not the champ you want to use to climb the ladder.

Of course, there are people who are good, and those who are amazing on Nidalee, but this goes for those other 90% of people.

Just because she has a high skill floor doesn't mean it doesn't work, lol.
