First off, I suck at making names. This is just my ign (Lazukin) run through a reeeeeally simple code.


Zaxulim

Zaxulim is a gunner champion who is basically meant to be the secondary damage dealer/nuke. His passive allows him to escape enemies, along with his w skill. His autoattacks are made with an old fashioned looking repeater rifle.

Pros
- Long range in general
- Can slow enemies with passive to prevent their escape or get away
- Can boost own attack speed
- Recoil allows for a quick escape through walls and does very high damage
- Extremely long range with ultimate
- High AoE damage with ultimate

Cons
- If W is on cooldown, very hard to escape
- Somewhat slow champion
- Strange mix of AP/AD
- Hard to aim ultimate correctly

Stats (At level 18 with no equipment)

Health - 1906
Mana - 793
AD - 101
Speed - 315
Armor - 69
Mag Res - 30
Range - 435

Passive - Martelo: All enemies within 300 range of Zaxulim are slowed by 10%.

Rapid Shot - Zaxulim shoots an enemy, increasing his own attack speed by (15/20/30/35/50)% for 5 seconds and dealing (20/50/90/120/150 +50% AD) damage.

Mana Cost - 75/75/80/80/85 mana
Cooldown - 13 seconds
Range - 320

Recoil - Zaxulim shoots in one direction, knocking him back 400 range in the other direction. Anyone shot (it is a skillshot that explodes on hit into a small AoE) takes (75/120/165/210/255 +65% AP) damage.

Mana Cost - 75 mana
Cooldown - 26/24/21/19/16 seconds
Range - 500

Explosive Shells

Passive - Zaxulim's attacks do (4/6/8/10/12) extra damage and every third one deals an extra (25/35/50/60/75) damage.

Active - Zaxulim's next (4/5/6/7/8) attacks will explode, dealing 45 +15% AP damage in a small AoE, this applies to allies in range as well. The passive remains active.

Mana Cost - 55/60/65/70/76 mana
Cooldown - 26 seconds
Range - 600

Mortar - Zaxulim spends the next second taking out a mortar, and fires it at a very large range One second later, it lands. Upon landing, it deals (300/400/500 +80% AD) damage in a huge AoE and knocks all enemies outside the AoE. All opponents hit are then stunned for 0.5 seconds.

Mana Cost - 120 mana
Cooldown - 105 seconds
Range - 10000




What should I change? I want this to be balanced, but it's had to balance damage with abilities, although this champion just doesn't seem all that unique to me. My next one will hopefully be better.




Recent Changes

Mortar
- Cooldown increased to 105 from 80
- Now scales with 80% AD from 85% AP


Explosive Shells
- Cooldown increased to 26 from 20

This is actually really good. I think it is all generally balanced, except the CD on his ulti should go up a little. I also think it should add AD bonus, just me maybe, since a mortar strike seems like it would be an AD attack. Also, either explosive shells CD has to increase, or the ally AoE has to go away. Or you need to make it an increasing duration (2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds) but not increasing amount of attacks. Since then you could just use it and have it available right after the explosive attacks.

I hope you know what I'm saying, idk if im being too clear :S

But, it is a really great idea, I would love to see this guy go further.

This seems like you took the a move from cait trist and tf and made it into a different character. Still interesting combo. I think his passive needs to be a little diffent. Maybe make the aoe larger and the slow like 7%. Either way though.

You're actually right about Cait and Trist. I wanted a kind of spin-off champion that would be weaker but more versatile, so I basically combined them with a few changes. I'll update when I get home.
