New devourer looks really strong, I hope it won't be too strong and it actually enables some other junglers into meta.

It doesn't infinitely scale anymore, which allows Riot to balance it. If it's completely overturned on release, the removal of infinite stacking wllows easier balancing for this item. It won't be as problematic as Feral Flare to balance.

Whoah, I completely missed the fact that it doesn't scale infinitelly. That doesn't sound so bad, it opens more balance options when you don't have to account for extremely rare scenarios when player will have hundreds of stacks and item will be completely broken.

With that in mind, it still seems on paper and from all available previews, that devourer is a bit too strong. I hope they don't release it for the lulz in that state.

Another thing to note is that it only works on actual basic attacks, no spells that apply on-hit effects. Infinite Duress doesn't proc it, Parrrley doesn't proc it, etc. On next basic attack effects also aren't applied twice, as it was said that the first basic attack would consume it. For ease, if Xin Zhao were to get this, Three Talon Strike would be applied twice the first attack, and the next one would knock up. A Siphoning Strike would only apply on Nasus's attack, not the spectral attack as Nasus's attack would consume it.

Wrong, Xin Zhao's and Rek'Sai's Abilities are On-Attack effects, not On-Hit effects, so they do not proc twice. This is also why Xin Zhao's heal works against turrets.

Like I said, if anything turns out OP, Riot will turn On-Hit effects to On-Attack effects, like Master Yi Passive, Shyvana Q cooldown or Skarner Q cooldown.

...which was said by a Rioter. If it's two auto-attacks back to back, then I don't see why Three Talon Strike wouldn't be consumed twice, since it lasts longer than the aforementioned on next basic attack abilities.

I love how every NicknameMy thread knee jerks a "IT'S OP" opening statement. I don't see this item even being that much of an issue, considering how strong the tank jungler meta is right now, where cinderhulk is always going to be the problem.

It's a nice addition, but it's not going to be a problem.

(also, did I just see a Master Yi suggestion for opness for this item? lol)

NEW META : Jungle Vayne + support and 3 solo lane

Since sated devourer on vayne is really good, but her jungle is bad, just put her in the jungle. Let her farm. First, it stacks faster when together with as support cause you clear faster with the same amount of gold while being able to stack by ganking lane as double ganking is easier now. All your laner also gains more exp.

So, take on Lulu as vs duo lane as she doesn't need much farm and can support vayne in late game. Put someone tanky and can peel in top lane, say Shen, Malphute or maybe if you want to aggresive, Irelia or Lissandra. Put another utility based in mid lane such as Azir, Orianna or if you want ro go crazy, Janna for disengage. Then take another semi tanky support to be able to take the jungle monster damage such as Nautilus, Braum or leona or even better Tahm Kench when he's out. This way it feels like a protect the Kog maw strat but with a vayne who has better utility on herself, true damage every 2 procs and enough peel to survive

Playing it on PBE is no prove to that it doesn't work? Same goes for his heal, it only procs every 3 times even with Sated Devourer. But there is a bug with Xin's Q where it applies either 3 normal hits or 3 shadow hits with Q.
