It seems like things are catching up, but the published guide is still sometimes showing updates which I published a couple of hours earlier than the latest update.
I don't think it is my button pressing which is wrong, because I always press the "Publish" button the same way. Pressing the "Publish" button is having some effect, because the "revision" version of my guide gets updated when I press it, and it looks like the "published" version of the guide sometimes gets updated too.

I've been able to fix the error by deleting 15 chapters from in my guide. So now I split the guide into 2 parts, with the deleted chapters in a separate guide (Part 2).
After I did this, updates to Part 1 of the guide now publish totally fine with no errors. Updates to Part 2 of the guide (which has more text) also seem to publish OK, but it is very slow to publish and the "Make sure you have created at least one chapter" error still shows up.

Hi @Mowen, seems like this has just been fixed? Certainly the problem seems to have stopped as of this week: hitting the 'Publish' button now results in successful publication, even for a long guide. Thank you to whoever fixed this.
One thing I am noticing, my guide view count is increasing unrealistically fast, even where others are not. Not complaining - :) - but it suggests there may be some bug somewhere.

Since 2 days ago, if I edit my guide with an update and then click the "Publish" button:
- the saved revision of the guide (maybe only visible if you are logged in as me?) includes the fresh update
- the index to published guides for the champion shows my guide as last updated today (updated at the time I clicked the "Publish" button)
- but, the published version of the guide does not include the fresh update: it still shows older text from 1 or 2 updates before, like maybe 12 hours ago.
Basically it is very slow to publish new updates to my guide. It's like the updates are not propagating to the public version of the guide.
I have tried a few different things like hitting the "Publish" button more than once; using "Save" before using the "Publish" button; and doing it again on a fresh log in after closing my browser. None of these things makes any difference. It feels like it's a server-side issue.
This problem started two days ago, at about the same time as a heavy batch of 524 errors. Before that, I have been able to update my guide and publish the updates OK: I update the guide most days.
Older problem
Starting 2-3 weeks ago I get this error message in red whenever I "Save" or "Publish" the guide:
My guide definitely has at least one chapter with a title and some text - actually it has 23 chapters and about 50,000 words of text if you include spoilers.
Even though this error message comes up, the error has not prevented the guide from being updated. Even with the error message, using the "Publish" button saves updates on the server and the updates are added to the published version of the guide. (OK, over the last 2 days the published version has been slower to be updated, see above, but it still seems to update eventually - for example, the current text on the public guide has updates which I wrote 12 hours ago.)
Very grateful for any suggestions on what else I can try here. I have tried deleting a couple of chapters from the guide. I'd be OK with moving half of the text into a separate "Part 2" guide. But I definitely don't want to delete the whole guide and start again: thanks to votes, this guide is currently the highest-rated guide for the champion (Shyvana) and I don't want to lose that.
