I don't know, this build is different and I like it because compared to the boring AP Builds with Q after Q after Q it gets stail after a while, but with this build you have choice of making plays with your Zhonya's and Gunblade active, but what I liked most is that Wit's end also gives you the ability to steal 5 magic resistance from the champion your hitting making them more Vulnerable and making you more tanky

I'd rush Nashor's Tooth and Wit's End and probably not even get Guinsoo's Rageblade or Hextech Gunblade. After you get Nashor's Tooth and Wit's End you'll want strong AP items because your basic attacking is now covered. Grab a Frozen Heart then get a strong AP item.

I'd recommend this build, however please note I haven't tested it but it looks great in theory:

+ + + + +

You might also want standard Warwick runes. 9 Attack Speed marks, 9 Armor seals, 9 Magic Resist glyphs, 3 Attack speed quints. Reason is early game you'll be focused on auto attacking to heal because you won't have enough mana to spam your Q. AP won't be a priority until you start getting your AP items. Your play style would involve a lot of auto attacking and using your Q like normal since you still need to proc your Eternal Thirst.

Reason I wouldn't recommend Hextech Gunblade is because they don't offer you attack speed. You need attack speed and AP for AP Warwick, not damage.

Nashor's Tooth gives you lots of AP, Attack Speed, and CDR as well as magic damage on hit for basic attacks. It's everything you'll want for AP Warwick all in 1 package. Then you get the [[Wit
s End]] to deal more AP on hit as well as for weakening your enemy's defenses against magic damage.

I know, I've tried that build before, sure you get alot of attack speed but its just that the autoattacks don't do enough damage with an AP Warwick build, because only 50% of your AP is added as damage to your base autoattack damage, but with Guinsoo's and Rageblade you get some AD for you to get at least some damage on both your autoattacks and ultimate.
The reason I like Hextech Gunblade is because of its Unique Passive which has synergy with his Q and as a bonus you get an active that can also heal you when your Q is on cooldown, all the while its active does alot of damage to the enemy because of its AP ratio.
The reason I like Guinsoo's Rageblade is because of of it's passive as well, which causes it to trigger on-hit effects an additional time every other attack, just like a ****tier sated devourer because you have to stack it six times first then the passive will take effect, but that is no problem for Warwick because of his Ultimate which stacks it 5 times all the whilst it applies other on-hit effects, and with another autoattack it's fully stacked, causing it to apply 3 on-hit effect every two autoattacks. This gooes well with the on-hit effects of Nashor's Tooth, Wit's End and Guinsoo's which add up to +70 magic damage per autoattack, thus autoattacking twice inflicts +210 magic damage onto the enemy causing even more healing to Warwick because of his Passive and the Passive of the Hextech Gunblade. This causes him to be a healing machine.
The reason I don't like the AP build, is because it depends too much on the healing off his Q, which doesn't come off cool down enough to be a consistent source of damage. Not only that but this build only gives him 40& cooldown reduction at lvl 18, whilst my build gives him 45% cooldown reduction causing his Q to come up more often.
To top it off I gave him a Cinderhulk enchantment, to provide consistent damage to openents and consistent healing when he is dueling with enemy champions. Add in the increased healing of Spirit Visage, he becomes a dueler no body can win against thus can split push like a beast late game.
The only problem with him is that he sometimes over heals and can be easily bursted down thus the reason I gave him alot of Health runes and finished the build with Zhonya's and Spirit Visage to give him a chance to not be bursted down.

Your goal as Warwick isn't to deal damage quickly. Warwick is about dealing damage over time and helping his team win fights. You aren't about bursting down enemies. The reason AP Warwick is normally considered is because the immense healing capability added to him with his Q and also changes Warwick's purpose into being about bursting your enemies. Meaning if you want to burst your enemies you build full AP and almost kill them with 1 shot. Normally when you don't go AP you're supposed to build him to be more tanky. If you build AP, the entire point is for your Hungering Strike to be strong, not your auto attacks.

Also the CDR cap is 40% unless you get the mastery that gives you 5% CDR and 5% more CDR cap, which means with my build you'd have 45%. You'd probably get Thunderlord's Decree if you went AP Warwick so you can get that 45% CDR.

The best way to play AP Warwick is to get as much AP as you can while also having attack speed so you can proc Eternal Thirst. Literally the only reason you play AP Warwick is for the Q and the damage+healing it does. If you want to be a basic attacker that focuses on damage with basic attacks you might as well build Warwick normally.

However the build I said to do will give you both damage with basic attacks, high attack speed, and high AP.

This is a build I'd probably do for jungle AP Warwick:

+ + + + +

I think an alternative to Rylai's Crystal Scepter could be Lich Bane but then you're not very gold efficient because the CDR won't go to use. So maybe Iceborn Gauntlet instead of Frozen Heart but you're not building damage so that might not be optimal and Frozen Heart gives you a great defensive passive.

This will give your Hungering Strike massive initial damage, enough attack speed for your auto attack sustain, 40% CDR, and will slow your enemy when you use Hungering Strike. You also get the defensive capabilities of Frozen Heart and mana. Can't forget that Warwick needs defense.

I won't say that your build is wrong, however I disagree with the purpose of it. In my opinion the goal should be basically 1 shotting enemies with your Q by auto attacking them and then finishing them when they still have over half their health just by using your ability. If the goal was auto attacks you might as well do what those Fervor of Battle players do and build damage. I am against that type of build for Warwick unless it is just for fun, because it isn't optimal. He does more damage in long run as a tanky auto attacker than as a squishy auto attacker.

An example of this is a ranked game I played recently. My entire team was dying because they were squishy and we were fighting assassins. What was I doing? I was just picking off every enemy who wasn't focused on me by using my auto attacks. I also took advantage of my team's damage by using Infinite Duress near our Syndra or Tristana on the assassin trying to kill them. If I didn't use ult to save them, they'd be too scared to help me and then I'd be 1v5. I didn't die because I built tanky enough to survive any CC or damage they threw my way and I did more than enough damage to quickly kill the assassins. I ended up losing that match though because my team was too busy arguing with each other, but at least I did good personally and got an S. So at least I know I wasn't the reason for the loss. If I built damage I'd have fed hard because they'd just burst me down instantly.

With all that being said I will be trying out your build, it is certainly worth testing out.
