I am level 30 and right now sitting at 36% crit damage and 3.3% percent crit chance (from 2 quintessences) from my runes. I bought pretty much all crit damage because I read a Gangplank guide a while back about going all crit damage. Since he is my favorite character, I built around him and like him. He is not too bad but it seems like my crits usually max out around 1050-11. I did one time hit 1500-1700 but I am not sure how. Anyways, I would like to find another character to play that would most benefit from having all crit damage runes. I have heard Tryn (which I have started trying) and Pantheon. Anyone else?

Do magic spells have a chance to crit also?

Btw, I love hitting like a truck and doing massive damage. It just sucks to be a glass cannon at times with GP.

Thanks!

Very bad rune choice. Tryndamere and Shaco also may benefit from this crit dmg burst. Shaco would be the better choice of both of them. You should be used to squishiness with GP but Shaco also has a great escape mechanism (or 3).

ArP > CrC > CrD

There are tbh only 2 champs heavily dedicated to Crit chance stat. GP and Tryn. Nothing more tbh. You can always go for any ranged physical champ (Ashe/Cait/TF/Trist and so on)
Crit is nice on those too.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried Tryn a couple more times and I am getting better with him. Unfortunately, since I am crit damage instead of crit chance, I don't usually get a quick start with him but towards the end, i can hit pretty hard. This means I have to have a good team to start or go against dumb players to feed me.

What runes do you think are the most universal to get? Maybe for my 2nd book of runes I will try to buy those to fit more champions. Probably Attack speed will be one I would like for sure. Anything else?

The most universal marks are definitely armor penetration and magic penetration, with attack speed taking 3rd place. Dodge seals and scaling MP5 seals are very good choices to buy, as are flat armor if you jungle a lot. For glyphs, you can't go wrong with flat CDR, although scaling magic resist is really useful too. Flat health quints are by far the most universal. Movement speed quints and armor pen/magic pen quints are quite common as well.

I would prioritize those armor penetration marks since you seem to play a lot of physical carries.

I use a blend of Crit Damage and Crit Chance with Tryndamere. It really is not very conducive to success with ALL damage runes, you will have trouble critting.

^^^ I am beat to the chase. What they said like 52034189035 times over. Beat into your head with a stick or something... IDK!

Well, I find that Crit Chance will always outperform Crit Damage no matter how much someone might say otherwise. Better early games lead to AMAZING late games. And with the Crit Chance, you can get things other than Crit Chance Items, like a Bloodthirster or 2. XD

Thanks to Scrax for my Evelynn Sig.I did the Yi, Anivia, and Udyr Sig.

I've seen Jax's with runes similar, but some crit chances.
He hit pretty hard, so it's safe to say it might be a fun rune build to try, but not nearly as effective as some other choices. But as previously stated, Shaco would benefit the most seeing as he has a guaranteed crit every few seconds with deceive.

I love a good Shaco.

Well, I have found that you can get just about as much CrD runes as you want with a couple CrC to help you out. But other than that, you can get sufficient CrC and ArP with just items in-game.
