I'm not 100% sure which i side i would lean on, but i think the current LoL game as a whole, is pretty fun and satisfying. :) I did enjoy the read alot though.

@Canoas

Not saying that league of legends need denyeing. Just thought it was a intresteing read, and some lol players shuld take the time to read it.

but is this a response to some debate on whether denying should be introduced or something?
I just fail to see any reason for that wall of text. Looks a bit random.

I remember a Riot Red posting something about the damage and fights.

They want the fights to be more down to earth, and are concerned with the power creep. That's why most new champions will almost always get nerfs to curb them. Hardly ever any buffs (except for the ridiculously weak and boring Lee Sin)

Riot's going to the "simple and fun" path rather then the "deep and intricate" path, probably because it would mean a lower learning curve, and a bigger fanbase in the long run.
A game with depth is also a game with difficult learning curves, since it's PvP there's very little room for people to experiment and find those "unique" ways to use resources, and new players can get easily frustrated as they have to battle against players who do know the unique methods that put them at a huge advantage.

I don't believe that anyone whose played either DotA/HoN will argue for the complexity of League. Coming into this game personally I knew that the skill and mechanics of this game would end up watered down if it had to create a more cohesive team experience. Many of the mechanics that exists in DotA such as significant cast times, tree juking, denying, etc. simply don't exist and will never be implemented. The appeal of League to me was the sheer amount of responsibility that each teammate on your team had to shoulder. Each person has a role, and they know that if the combined efforts of everyone amounts to something, they can win. It is not simply enough to be able to stomp people and go 3/0 early, snowballing the rest of the game. There is always a need for the rest of your team to at least be there for you, supporting, warding, etc.

Also...I downloaded eve of the apocalypse. My friends have had quite a few frequent DotA LANs, will pop this bad boy in some day and try it out.
