My TF is pretty nasty and he's my most played champion. On my smurf (Joshtacular) I tested out ELO hell, dropped it to 950 ELO, and carried it back up to 1444 with alot of super carry TF games, then I played during Korean time and lost 10 games in a row and started trolling (lost 120 ELO) and got banned for 2 weeks by ***bunal l0l.
But anyway, I'll 1v1 mirror match my TF versus anyone and probably come out on top everytime. I hardly ever see good TFs in Ranked and if I get to pick him I usually win. My build is pretty much the same as jiji's and once I get deathcap it's game over. Last Ranked in low-mid elo was 16/4/12 or something like that. I'll try to get my TF on LoLRecorder so you guys can see :P
I ALWAYS start boots + 3pots, jiji does the same. The pots provide lane sustain and the boots extra mobility over enemy champs, I usually force people out of lane or just play passive and farm til 6 to gank sidelane and recall for more sustain/damage. With the extra movement you can kite people and deny them with intimidation techniques with a gold card lock in, and then when they overextend punish them with a gold card + wild card. shortly after blue card to get all your mana back. Fun fact: I also firstblooded every Malzahar I've ever played against l0l

Basically the AP per/lvl is real rape, since I'm usually most farmed and highest lvl. When I get deathcap the 30% bonus applies to runes as well, then when I get Lichbane my Gold Card + Wild Card combo usually hits over 65% hp on (sometimes 1 shot) squishies. Then towers die in 3 blue card pulls. Once I get void staff, they die in 3 lich bane procs (blue card proc, + wild card proc, +blue card proc).
I learned everything from watching jiji splitpush, now I've learned how to splitpush to the point where the enemy can't see you pushing a lane until you're at their tower. :D tango tf skin OP.

I'm liking everything but the AP/lvl seals. I'm pretty sure MP5(flat or per lvl) would be a stronger choice.

I thought so too, until I realized blue cards give you all your mana back. Once you get some decent AP 1 blue card can give you 35% mana back + Blue cards too OP no need for mana regen anymore, besides the base 3 per 5 from masteries and then extra 10 per 5 from double dorans
With AP /lvl seals and glyphs you get 45 bonus AP at lvl 18 (actually 60 with quints), good for Deathcap passive. Like I said, once you get Deathcap you start nuking real hard, then Lich Bane doubles your damage on stun. From there void staff to seal teh deal.
I mean I would make a guide, but I'm over making guides for this site just to get mad from silly downvotes :P

the setback that makes it un-OP is that it doesn't build into anything
but it isn't like you are throwing out gold; sure, it'll take a little longer to get that first legendary item, but you will have more helpful stats overall with the Doran's item, plus doing better in lane and sustaining better, last hitting more, harassing more, etc. lets you perform better overall and get more farm for those legendary items.
That's why many pros and non-pros alike stack 2-3 Doran's items; it sets back on the legendary but the amazing boost makes up for it.
If you wanted the stats Ring gives to build into something else, you would pay around 1k for them.
