Need help with Irelia 1v2 on top lane

It's about KNOWING how much damage the turret will deal, so you can manipulate which minions can be last-hit.

On average, I can get about 5/6 minions per wave. But it really depends on which champion I'm playing and how familiar I am with them.

@ #2: Noooo... You harass them a bit, but never commit. Always be ready to run. (Unless your jungler to about to gank)

If you die and your turret kills 1, it's not worth it.
You give gold for the kill AND assist, while you'd only receive gold for 1 kill. Team-wise, that means it's definitely not worth it.

In addition, it means you're liable to give away exp while receiving none.
If the enemy truly commits under a tower, it means they're confident they'll kill you first. If they do, and they die to the turret, you don't get the exp for the kill while they do. That means they'll be ahead in both gold and exp. Not a good position for a 1v2 lane.

@ #3: Your jungler should be visiting regularly to prevent the enemy from working on the turret, and you should be working hard to zone the enemy away from the turret at well. You can regenerate health, the tower can't.

If the tower's going down, it means you lost your lane.

1st; Just don't die.

2nd; Pick Cho gath, Morde, or Jarvan instead xD

Anything that can clear the wave immediately will be better than Irelia in a 1v2.

#2: Depends on the person. I can easily double-kill people who try to kill me under my tower, running is never an option. Imagine these situation:

1. You kill one of them and die. The other team will not break the tower because there's only one enemy hitting it. The jungler comes and defends it.

2. You run, both enemies hit and break the tower, and the jungler could do nothing because there were 2.

I prefer the first option, staying with the tower is a lot better imo, but I know you'd run anyway because your life is more worthy than 190 gold.

Thanks again ^^.. Tried what u guys told me on some games, and I did pretty well ^^.. Specially with Hitten Style + early Phage, very OP!! And the sustain that I get from W + regrowth is enough to stay in lane for a long time, until I have money to buy Philosopher's Stone + Boots.

1v2 top is very hard for Irrelia, you have to play very, very passively.

Try to not get harrased, if this means giving up a lot of last hits do it, Irrelia can't sustain herself well in a 1v2 lane so if you get to half health your opponent will surely dive you. If you die even 2 times 1v2 it is impossible to come back from it and you will be behind the entire game.

If you just manage to hold out untill the mid game your team has a massive advantage, if your jungler was any good. and the game should be pretty easy from that point onward.

One more quetion, about the runes... Wich ones u guys think is better for solo top Irelia (1v1 or 1v2).. I'm thinking about health regen Greater Quintessence of Vigor or Armor Pen Greater Quintessence of Desolation..

I'd say the armor pen for her. I've tried both though, they both work.

If you take Doran's shield and hp regen quints, you're going to be an immovable object for any AD solo lane.

When I play Irelia solo top I most often go 1gp/10 quints :)
