Hi, Im having issues with tryn late game. I realize that he should be faceroll when carrying so hard at this point but the builds i follow just lead him to be a glass cannon. The problem that im facing with him late game is im constantly getting targeted even when i jump in the fights way late because i know they are focusing me hard. The way that i thought could remedy this is to build a little more tanky for late game instead of just collecting damage items. Before i list my idea on items if you have any other suggestions on what i may be doing wrong could you please list it in your responce.

So my thoughts on gear are that i would just get a warmogs and atmas. those 2 items stacking with 3 dps tryn items would allow him to still be good dps in the late game and be able to take a hit. so my question is this. How would i go about making this build for item order?

If his first 5 items are: PD, IE, Warmogs, atmas, and BT would the build go something like this? keeping in mind that i jungle tryn.

Vamp Scept.
tier 1 boots
zeal
tier 2 boots
BF sword
giants belt
atmas
warmogs
IE
PD
BT

this is how i see it playing out so that you get tanky for late game but still have a decent early game as well. With this item order do i sacrifice too much damage for survivibility for a carry in the mid game? Thoughts and suggestions please.

You could grab Wriggle's Lantern as your first item from Vampiric Scepter. That already boosts your armour.

Instead of Phantom Dancer, you could grab Youmuu's Ghostblade (not an upgrade in survivability, but a better item for Tryn, in my opinion).

If you want more health, you could try Frozen Mallet with Atmogs.

Why building tanky for lategame when u can press R for early/mid? Ok they focus you as soon as you are in the fight cuz of all your offense and no defense items...
Ok you get focused, you activate your ultimate, 2 Choices for enemys:

1.1.Either still focusing you, while you trolol em.
1.2. They dont focus you then you just lifesteal up.

After your ult is gone:
If 1.1. happened:
Your Team should have gotten enough time to pwn most of em, so that you can NOW lifesteal your way up and trolol em, ignite just reduces regen by 50% not much of a threat anymore.

If 1.2. happened:
Some of your Team mates died, but cuz u aint got focused you have full HP+in the Time of your ult you laid havoc so they are mostly dead too, just pick up the rest.

Edit: any CC used on you is one CC less for your team :3 and while your Teammates easily die as soon as they are CCed, u still wont die even if its a 5 sek full stun :0

Pretty much what Yuki said.
You have to learn to use your ultimate correctly if you want to be a successfull Tryndamere´.
Your Build totally kills your midgame damage potential, besides of that Atmog's is EXTREMELY expensive and doesn't pay off until very lategame. Trynd is not a bruiser and not an offtank, he is a Melee AD Carry.

Trynd is designed to be a roflstomping barbarian with tons of offense, not much defense.

Survivability =/= Sustainability. If you don't want to die then get cleanse or quick silver sash since you are getting focused. After that a bloodthirster or two couldn't hurt, just get some life steal. Tryndamere is naturally tanky but if you want more health don't go extreme with warmogs, it'll really delay your build.

tyvm for all your responces, with that said i do have another question. when im teamfighting as tryn and i activate my ult do i stay in the teamfight while my ult is activated or do i use it to live and run away with? is this situational or should i always continue to teamfight threw my ulti and commit 100% to the fight?

Both? If you are in a team fight, you use ult to stay alive and fight, else you use it to stay alive long enough to get away, depends on the situation. You don't want to go 1v5 and then use ult to fight for an example.
