Lol wonderful guide, explains voting to newer members, teaches people not to go flaming or troll voting and appreciate the hard work people put into most guides. Funny thing is Warwick-JungleKing to LaneKing was my 1st guide which I made before having enough experience in LoL or making guides.

I wish I could give you a cookie but since I can't, a +1 will have to do for now.

I don't like this guide...
Why would you make a guide about voting?
And your guide contains too many colors it kills my eyes..

Lol Canoas. You think what you like, I'll stick to my writing fetish and make it public to the world; if you don't like it, ignore it :) I just have nothing more to say to you.

It doesn't matter how good it is, it could even be the best peace of writing in the history of the human race, it's still not in the right section. Also, the people that found it useful were not people looking for it, they were people who simply stumbled upon such guide. Furthermore, if you acknowledge that people are asking questions in the FAQ before they search for the FAQ then you need to make the FAQ more visible instead of trying to insert the questions/answers in places they don't belong to. You're not improving the site at all, you're scattering the information around in inappropriate places. I fail to see why mods like Scrax are encouraging this instead of trying to keep the information in the right place, it's nonsensical.

I wrote this guide either directly before, or directly after my Guide to Making a Guide, which (as you may or may not know) is a guide about making a guide. Seems redundant, does it not? And yet, many people found it useful. As explained earlier, I made this because people kept on PM'ing me about Troll Votes and I found the threads that explained them were outdated/dry and boring. So I made my own.

You claim that the FAQ thread in the forums is the place people are directed to. In my experience here, and I've been here for a while now, people ask questions before they look for them. In response to those questions I made my own sort of guide. It is a conglomeration of several threads in addition to my own thoughts and ideas.

I have contemplated moving this to the wiki (as the wiki did not exist when I made this), but I am uncertain whether the content is "neutral" enough for a wiki - which it is not.

For all intents and purposes, this guide full-fills the expectations of the reader. Voting is explained, alongside other important factors related to guides, such as featured content and the freshness filter.

If this sort of guide is not your cup of tea, please be gone. Leave your downvote and your opinion, I've already given you my opinion, please respect it. Thank you.

And to answer your question, yes. I already have. Seeing as I created the FAQ wiki, I compiled the rules etc from those forums and incorporated them into the FAQ wiki article. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I may direct you to the FAQ wiki I wrote. Or maybe I'll even make a guide about your next question.

The FAQ in the wiki is in the right place, this is not. The wiki, like the support forum, is a good place for a FAQ. I find it funny how you call a negative response "harassment". If I was wrong you'd say why I'm wrong and why this topic is not utterly useless when we have a FAQ in the support forum, instead you try to dismiss my criticism of a guide as harassment.. funny.

I mean, if you make a guide for the "Support" section then what's stopping you from making a guide for the "Build & Guide Discussion" or "Signatures & Art" forums as well?
