So I belief the hotfix is really needed. else you could as well take 2 doublelane's.
You do realize I mentioned champions. Not just WW. I'm talking about junglers who are left out in the open and very underused, such as Sion, Amumu, Jarv, etc.

Cloth Armor and 5x Health Potions. You upgrade Starcall first and spam it(the bad thing she can't kill the blue buff golem when lv 1-.-'') on whatever crepp you are currently focusing. Her ganks are not soo good. The only way to gank is to flash in the mid, Infuse the enemy, Starcall untill he's dead(Ofc you can't kill the enemy by yourself,you need support from your ally). For summoner spells I would take these combinations: Smite and Flash, Smite and Ignite ( Ignite if you are going for the small golems, ignite the first one and spam Starcall until you can see that you can Smite the golem that has no Ignite on him), Smite and Heal(only good when you don't have your heal) and Smite and Surge(surge for faster finishing the first bush or any other). My masteries would look like this 0/30/0. Soraka needs all the defense you have.And that's it,^^.
