Text needs to be bigger, compo is bad, don't do center compo, move it to the right a tad.
You've blended smudged him in too much, there's light on the render but you've made no lightsource. Try adding fractals for light, and some c4ds for flow, maybe not c4ds in this sig as it's a smudge sig! Sharpen him to add more depth. It looks good KIU. :D
Also add adj layers. I'll make a vid on them if you don't know what or how to use them well if you want.

The next set of comments merely reflect my personal taste and are not meant to offend your personal style. Any comment I make that you might disagree with is simply that, a comment. We are all here to make art in our own way, and that means styles and opinions conflict with one another, but overall remember you are making art because you enjoy it, or like your own style. Thefore my comments are meant to suggest ideas of how to modify or adapt your style if you so choose. Not to inforce my own idea of how something could be done or "should" be done.
-I dislike the text, not the font, but the size, placement, and akwardness of it. I think you could have made it a bit bigger and fudged around with it to get it to blend with the piece better. Text isn't really my forte, BUT I do try to mess around with it to make it fit the signature as a whole rather than make it appear to be an after thought. (not saying that's what your intent was simply that the text does not look as touched up as the rest of the piece.
-Although I like the color pallate I do not like the lack of discernable flow. Part of the sig seems to flow from bottom left to upper right while the other flows Upper left to center bottom, to bottom right. It lacks continuity or at the very least a common starting point.
-It's hard to tell if you were using C4Ds, brushes or a couple clipping masks (or all 3). The sparratic placement on or near the arms/upper body of Alistar REALLY adds visual weight to the top portion of the image, while not overtly unattractive it does draw attention to the top portion of the signature away from the main and secondary focuses. Alistar and the text. I would want to try and even out the visual weight of the signature by adding more C4Ds/brushes/ placing the text for the sig in that region.
I'd offer a 7/10 for this.
I think it has potential to be better. Overall I like it, the things mentioned above that I dislike still make it a visually pleasing piece as a whole. They could be improved upon. Nothing needs to be removed here, just added and smoothed out. Or that is what I think. GJ though ^_^

I actually like all of this signature except two things:
* The border - try lowering the opacity of it so it looks a little see-through; I think this effect will flow with your smudgy/indistinct feel of the signature
* The text placement - try moving the text under or above his arm
Great work though, certainly better than my smudging attempts!

I think the C4D(s) over power(s) the image.
Just feels overly messy...Granted smudge sigs have an inherent "mess factor" because of the style used to create them, it just looks overly complicated and untidy, I wouldn't even begin to decide how to blend a piece of text into the sig.
