And what item would you suggest I'd sell for that?

EDIT: If you say Mercury's Treads I'll find you and slap you accross the face. Doesn't matter where you are ATM.

Thanks for the replies, everyone!

@TokenTheGreat I mainly compare him to Nasus thanks to both of them having impressive lategame capabilites. ^^ Even though Nasus is very strong with a farmed Siphoning Strike, if there's anyone capable of preventing that it's Renekton. :D

@lexiphanic Thank you for the information! ^^ I mistook the "ABILITY ..." quite badly, then. O_o

The reason why I don't grab Ruthless Predator as early as level 4 is because I think Slice and Dice and lv 2 Cull the Meek work better in a quick poke than popping your entire combo on him.

I know that Renekton can't be build as a full tank anymore, but I take those runes to make your early laning somewhat easier, seeing how you'll be capable of deflecting some minion damage and take some magic damage as well, but with the new patch I might replace those for ArPen or CDR.

I know I don't have CDR because I don't really know what items to take for it. Frozen Heart? Renekton doesn't use mana, so I don't like taking that. Spirit Visage would only add to your tankiness, not your damage. Youmuu's Ghostblade? Meeehhh...

My masteries are the general tanky masteries I set up. :> Although if you have any suggestions on how to improve it, I'd appreciate it.

@Zacho1217 jhoijhoi is there to be thanked for the template. ^^ And I will change the runes and re-think the itemization with the next patch. :D Thanks for the upvote! ^^

I really like your template compared to most of the guides I have been seeing recently. I play Renekton quiet often and he is one of my favorite solo tops. My only concern is the CDR, because with making Renekton more tanky your obviously sacrificing damage, but as long as you still have CDR and tankiness you are still going to be annoying enough where people are not going to always ignore you and focus carries.

I still like your guide though and its very similar to my tanky renekton. I would just suggest ArP Marks and Quints, but that is just what I do.

I like this guide! Very nice formatting, use of pictures and icons. Overall, very nice looking.

Instead of saying "Ability One", actually put Cull the Meek, and same for the others.

For the skill build, I'd definitely suggest putting a point into Ruthless Predator at level 3 (or level 1), just to increase your low level harassing.

As for runes, Renekton isn't a full tank, that meta left the game a long time ago. I'd suggest getting either ArP marks and quints, or AD marks and quints. Stacking armor runes is beneficial, but not when you need to deal damage as well.

Since you're trying to build tanky, maybe make a defensive mastery tree option? I've only ever played Renekton with the defense mastery tree options, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but it works out a lot better.

As for items, you have no CDR. This is a dangerous situation for Renekton. Since he's entirely cooldown based, and relies on building and spending fury, it's imperative to have your cooldowns off quicker.

Overall, a solid guide, just some minor issues.

good explaination. Also like how you compare him to nasus. They are very similar yet nasus is usally chosen over him though he has the potential to be better in many situations.
