Unless you get sodomized early game.
I was riven against a nasus, at level 1 each of my passive procced auto attacks did 1/5th of his damage. At level 2, I got first blood. Snow balled from there, won the game when other team surrendered in 20 minutes.

Then would you admit that people saying that Riven is indeed not a hard champion to play, is not butt hurt? Or was that just friendly banter you were trying to provoke because really.
No, you've seemed to miss the point..
Basically, Cassiopeia may stomp many match-ups but she by far not the easiest AP mid champion to play as she has a reasonably high skill-cap. Same can be said for Riven.
If I helped +Rep, if I didn't then +Rep the person who did.
When I play Nasus I just bide my time under my turret, peacefully Q'ing minions and watching the silly laner attempt to harass me as I lifesteal all my health back. Silly mortals. After awhile of them failing to kill me or getting ganked because they push too far, they give up. And so I farm, I farm until the time has come; the time when the world needs FARMED Nasus; the god of League of Legends. I swoop down to mid lane and save my lesser allies; for what am I? Immortal, that's what.

Yes, HOWEVER (this is becoming my most used word. Ugh.) that does not mean that the people who have stated Riven in their opinions are not butt hurt, and actually may have a point to go along with it, as well.

Okay, they aren't necessarily butt-hurt but possibly misinformed, lacking perception or knowledge. Happy now? I'm not saying Riven is the hardest champion to play, far from it she doesn't make it to the top 10 but what I am saying is that her name ought not to be even mentioned in this thread with countless of other champions having a lower skill-cap then her within the same position.

Hahaha, +rep for being the hero that LoL doesn't deserve.

I can't believe you even mentioned Nasus. Yeah Nasus gets crushed by most competitive top laners but that doesn't make him remotely difficult to play. This is a thread regarding the ease of handling the mechanics of certain champions at a high level, not whom is strongest. For example a champion that has been appearing a lot is Garen due to the fact that in terms of skill-set use their isn't a whole lot of difference between one at 1600 elo and that at 2k+ (obviously positioning, items etc will differ) but that is a whole other matter.
Yeah, she may stomp many match-ups along with Darius & Jax but it is the manner of which she does so that differs. As oppose to a Jax charging passive to 3x then jumping on the target and auto-attacking him to death.
