Veteran's Scars is a great mastery. I use it on my builds when my team has no tank, but when I do that I give up all 9 utility masteries and switch to defensive. This slows down Caitlyn strong early game.

Lmao off at the clip. His ulti was down and he was like half blind because he evidently didn't see that trap rofl. Also did you see cait's health, a compotent tank could have killed her there rofl but hey, thanks for the special mention.

Also on the supports, You added who you like but why? Taric has a nice heal, CC, armour shredding and an ultimate which grants you more AD. Soraka fixes your mana problems, has an amazing heal and a anti- Karthus ultimate. Sona has a heal, speed buff, armour, magic resist and an ultimate that makes the whole team dance all while having amazing cleavage xD. Lulu doesn't have a heal so she's more of a risky support but her damage output, presence and ultimate that makes you the size of a cyclops is funny. Just some thoughts. Also you should add a video of your own showing a teamfight as most people would die so fast as you have 1.8k health.

Sincerely,

Laughing JungleKing

I think the Defense Tree Veteran's Scars works better but thats my style.

Looks like the downvotes from before were for your lack of BBCoding but you've since fixed that. Still I might suggest reposting this guide as you're already down pretty far on votes.

+1 for encouragement.

#4 Counter Counter: True, you alone don't decide bot lane's fate but the thing is, you're a major part. You need the farm, you need the gold, you need the skill. Exhaust has a 210 second cooldown. A jungler has what, 1 minute to kill some jungle creeps after a gank and be ready again? Also what about roamers? 210 second cooldown vs a 60 second or even less cooldown to gank. This means all you've got your net and laughable movespeed (comparable to Ashe ) So think over it.

I said fed Master Yi or Tryndamere. If a Master Yi is doing 800 crits and has a Phage or Frozen Mallet already, you're over. Alpha Strike [Wuju Style]] Highlander 2-3 AA= dead Caitlyn. This is if Exhaust is down and it's a 1v1 or 2v2, not a teamfight. as to Tryndamere, he is a butcher. A good Tryndamere will rush Zeal Infinity Edge and Phantom Dancer combined with his fury system, he will kill you forever and ever mid=late game if fed. Crit on every shot, can lower your AD by 20-70 and has invincibility for 5 seconds. for both of these Thornmail or atleast a Frozen Heart / Guardian Angel would be needed because you can't kill them before they can because simply, melee AD carries are stronger than ranged AD carries till late game and if they're fed when you're not, GG.

Sincerely,

JungleKing

BB Coding is in.
I hope you like it.

#4 My style is unique and emphasizes aggressive play. Nocturne is a viable counter to my play style. However that is why I carry an exhaust and keep the other champs at maximum range. I should be able to exhaust him, trap him, or net him to back up and keep the enemy in front of me. I also rely on a decent support player to help control the opponents. Too many players focus on the individual. Bottom lane is won by solid strategy and cooperative play.

Master Yi is an easy enough kill with the 90 Caliber Net/Exhaust and then basic attacks. For Tryndamere it really depends on whether his ultimate is up. If it is, you are in a bad spot. You have to kill him once, get away and kill him some more.

Thanks for the response. but here's the think.

Counter #4- While I realize getting your Q at level 1 lets you check the brush but here's the thing. A: Pushing the lane while someone like Nocturne is jungling is suicide. The traps cost so much mana that, you can either stop a gank or trap the bushes/their pathways. at level 1 you can simply use them at full offense power because you don't have to worry about level 1 ganks 90% of the time but hey, everyone has their style.

Counter #5- It's overvalued for a reason. If someone is 2 shotting you down (fed Tryndamere or Master Yi defense is your only chance unless you yourself are 2 shotting them because simply, a dead AD carry is of no use to their team rather than 1 with some defense and still a ton of damage.

The list was required so it wouldn't look like I was typing random stuff lol. Again thanks for the response and I hope you'll look into improving this guide with BBCoding

Thanks for tips. I'll be updating this as time provides to get it fully fleshed out.
A couple of points from JungleKing

#3 - AP Carry is the greatest threat to this build. That doesn't change with the additional +13 MR from Runes. Take the attack speed or even mana regen. You are relying on your range and teammates against the AP Carry.

#4 - A Valid argument. This is a common choice and used in most guides. I use traps constantly, but level 1 is the wrong choice here. You'll pop level 2 during the 2nd minion wave. Get the traps then. Use the Piltover to check the bushes and to push the first wave back to its turret. From here keep them pinned down and drop traps at the river bush, top of the bush closest to their turret, then one either directly under them or the gap between the turret and the wall. This forces all action to one side of the turret, guards the gank and your escape path.

#5 - Defense is overvalued. As an AD carry, remember dead champs (Karthus/Kog excluded) won't kill you. So load up the offense and kill them faster.

I'll be adding these and the other points into the guide. Thanks for the discussion points and appreciate the list. Much easier to read and respond.
