We also got completely counterpicked in bot by the strongest possible lane in the game and they had Shen.
What really annoyed me is how the whining from Oxide and whatshisname was validated by letting them play together over my protests even though it horribly ****ed up the balance of the game. And it was the only game I got to play since apparantly not being invited back even when you sign up first is a thing now.

Here, let me correct you.
Top - Plat vs unranked
Mid - Silver vs Plat
Bot - Gold + Silver vs Gold + Silver
Jungle - Silver vs unranked
Now quit whining. It was even, you just never responded to what we were doing. Learn from the game instead of crying.
We were constantly pushing, and you did what? Three of you was farming and two defending. Good idea! That gave us inhib, and we could keep pushing for another inhibitor. Thanks for game though.
Don't tell me what to do please. Coming from someone who goes around calling people cancer and then is still allowed to play it's pretty funny.

I rest my case.
Let me try and clarify this.
I balanced teams based on what I felt people's skill levels were at and honestly it wasn't far off even if I look at it now.
Team 1 had 1 platinum, 1 gold and 3 silver players
Team 2 had 1 platinum, 2 gold and 2 unranked players
As you can see, there were 3 gold players in the game and it's impossible to balance that out unless you can split one in half.
I decided to give the team with the currently lower rated platinum player the 2 gold players and to balance THAT out put 2 unranked players with them, while team 1 got the Silver ranked players (who in theory should all be better than the unranked players).
The fact that you got counterpicked has nothing to do with balance and will always be an issue, regardless of who is up against who. You could have been a diamond Ezreal player and still have lost that lane.
I did not put them together because of the whining, I felt like it was the right thing to do.
Also, you didn't get invited back cause you're not the only one who wants to play in these inhouses. If you hadn't noticed, there's a LOT of people who signed up. For the first game, I invited people based on who signed up first but for the second game I prioritized people who hadn't played in game 1 and there just so happened to be enough to fill up an entire inhouse game.
If you had stuck around for game 3, you would have been invited again. Don't expect an invite every game just because you're a friend of the host.
