Champion remakes (like Ryze) has me thinking about this.

Should users be allowed to change their votes?
I've been looking at a few Ryze guides for referencing on mine, and I realize I voted on them when Ryze was still a nuker.
They've adjusted to the remake, but I find I still don't see myself giving them a +1 anymore.

Lots of people vote on the fly, only to realize they don't like it later too~
Opinions can change, and it's all about having a representative rating, right? So shouldn't we be allowed to change our vote if we decide our feelings have shifted?

What do you all think?

@DEWO:

That doesn't apply to the guides that don't have the Comment-to-Vote instance set.
Some guides like that will say "Already Voted," and that's it. o_o

Also, for comment-votes.
Manually deleting the comment reverses it to 0, no?

For comment-votes, deleting the comment does delete the vote along with it.

For other votes, you should always be able to change your vote except in these cases;

  • Your vote was cast before an old cutoff date where we overhauled the system (this is probably not the case for you, this was a LONG time ago).
  • A vote has already been cast from your current IP on the same content.

Otherwise you should not get that message, and if you do there may be a bug going on. Is that the case?

You need to log in before commenting.
