Imo, your lulu success is moreso from you playing well than the actual champion playing well. I think what makes lulu not high tier 1 is that she isn't dynamic enough. A champions like Nami is desired because no matter what adc you get, or what champs you are facing against, you will always hold your own in lane.

If i recall correctly, lulu has a lot of trouble against morgana and thresh. I think that's really what's hindering her from being a nice support. Most tier 1 supports hax has listed only have 1 support that gives them a little bit of trouble. But morg and thresh really make lulu's life living hell if i recally correctly.

In addition to that, I think lulu is so frequently sought for by mid laners and top laners, that it's unusual for her to go bot

It helps as an early pick as people will try to pick something to counter her top/mid, Morgana's i've never had an issue with personally, Lulu's Utility is superior (laning phase) and Q will almost always hit one of the two targets (if black shield is even used) and though i do rate Thresh harder, i find when he grabs my adc, i can simply walk over and W their ADC for a duration longer than Thresh's utility, and trade just as well due to an easy to land Q after (if i'm hit adc usually takes the time to throw in 1-2 auto attacks followed by the above to win the trade)

I believe Nami does do Lulu's job superior, and i do believe when i fight a Nami player that is very competent with Nami (I know Myself and most others are not the best with her) that i do lose overall on trades. I believe she should be a bit higher rated than Zyra/ Karma though, I don't think i've ever lost to a Zyra ever, most Zyra players seem to overcast in lane for trading, and even though they do trade stronger, end up losing the early lane war very hard due to mana, and struggle to recover (and pix makes killing plants very easy, maybe a bit too easy)

^ I too find that Lulu can compete with most supports botlane, plus her utility is very strong during all stages of the game. Thresh and Morgana require you to play similarly to the Leona matchup where you don't expose yourself to the threat they present early and just help win with strong poke and by making their initiation useless overall, whereas Nami can trade and heal ( Sona also used to be pretty nice against Lulu also because of that, but no one plays her. I think Sona/ Caitlyn lane was probably the strongest lane to play against any lulu lane, because they can poke and heal and you can't do much about it).

I think Lulu is good against initiators with no real sustain, but what makes her a "less optimal" support is because she is such a strong solo laner.

Lulu support is great but its not tier 1 she fits top and mid much better atm. Nami is similar to her i think be better she is strong lane poke and healing unlike lulu.

Nami is better if played at her full potential, which not all players can do even at Diamond Tier. Her bubble isn't half as easy to land as people make it and her ult has a tighter tempo than Lulu's in most situations. I can understand Nami being higher tier since this is a consideration of champs played at their full potential, but I do think that at an "average support player level" Lulu will often succeed far better. But I'm biased towards her.

She i still better you dont put lee sin low because bronze-gold player play him badly or have low win rate people just dont know how abuse his power early.

I think lee has like over 50% win rate at challenger, Diamond but if you look overall he is only 46% rate because of lower elo's.

After dorans blade nerf and 1v2 nerfs Nami got a huge boost in power because even though you might loose a trade, if you don't lose it too hard you can simply heal up and win lane anyway. Nami needs to watch out for ganks as even champs she counters (for example Morgana) can snowball vs her if she gets good ganks on nami. If she watches out for ganks however, and doesn't have a weak ADC like Vayne she should win lane pretty freely.

I would not use the word counter to describe Nami vs. Morgana. She has a pretty good laning phase against morg, but she doesn't coutner her.
Thanks for the Signature MissMaw!

I'd say the same. It'd be more suitable to say that going against a Nami as Morgana is annoying.

Even so, morg only needs to hit 1 dark binding to delete nami - especially if she's level 6 and the lanes had recalled to shop
