Game Summary Template for my Shoutcaster Friends

This is just a small template that I wish a lot of streamers who record their games would do. It would also be handy for games/tournaments you did not get a chance to watch, but would like to brush up on more quickly than watching the entire video.

TEAM {AAA} vs. TEAM {Crippl}

TEAM {AAA}

Bans: Morgana, Rammus, Chuck Norris
Picks:

A Good Offence is a Good Defense

I decided to play a normal game with 2 friends the other day and it happened to work out that I was stuck going mid. If you don't know me, AP mid is my worst role. I picked Morgana knowing she was pretty easy to do well with. (She is also a purple champion and everyone knows purple champions are OP. Kassadin,

Things Up-and-Coming Commentators Need to Focus On

I'm pretty much just noting these down to share with some friends. I'll be editing it frequently, so come back and check it out if you are interested.

1) Soundcheck / Videocheck before the game. Not that many of your loyal fans mind a brief pause, but it will keep everything running smoothly and you'll appear more professional on air.

2) Avoid Tunnel Vision on one lane or character. Often your focus will be on bottom lane because there are more champions down there. Don't let this happen. Your viewers would much rather see the solo lanes and ganks going down instead of watching and listening to the usual lane-exchange happening at bottom.

3) Flip Through the Spectator Tabs every 30 seconds if possible. Even if a particular stat / piece of information isn't important at the moment, you never know what the viewer wants to see. When you are trying to please everyone, do it ;)

4) Involve the viewers whenever you can. This includes asking/answering questions whenever doing s…

A Swain Guide has been Released!

HEY EVERYONE!

Over the past few days(weeks, and maybe a month), it's been really stressed for me. Tons of work to do, and what not. But hey, on the bright side, my Swain guide is finally completed AT LAST! =D For those who want to see this guide, click here! Hopefully you'll all enjoy it and will leave me feedback and comments etcetc. TL;DR? O_O

Counterpicking your opponent: Simple ways to win the...

So today I wanted to examine the art of counterpicking in the bottom lane. I'm certainly no expert on the matter but I there are a few counter picks and circumstances that I feel are self-explanatory but not every player will necessarily think of these counters. I'm also open to any counters that people wish to share or disagreement of counters, so feel free to post at the end of this and tell me what you think.

We'll start with Urgot, probably one of the least regarded AD champions. This could be due to his weak late-game or perhaps his ability to fit in any lane, whatever the case may be, Urgot is one of the strongest counter picks to an AD heavy team. He is naturally tanky with his shield

I didn't use to like Jarvan

But then I took an overused joke to its grave.

Jarvan is SO fun to play. Great jungler, and after those buffs you can be more lazy with mana.

Buffs are great, and honestly, with or without a few more buffs I anticipate people returning him to his old status, he may even pull a Shyvana because of a certain team using him.

The best buff to his viability was the physical damage on his passive a while ago.

Honestly Jarvan's one of my favourite champions now though. Fun to play, does his job well, and is tanky. I love playing tanky DPS junglers.

Nidalee

Hey guys,
I just bought Nidalee... Do you have any tips on how to play her a bit better? What runes do you prefer on Nidalee and what masteries do you use on her?

I think I'll upload a replay today or tomorrow so you can see how I play her...
I'd appreciate if someone could give me useful tips :)

Saturday 28th January - Gamechanging Moment

Hey guys,
yesterday i continued playing League of Legends some more and we had some awesome rounds.
As we started playing our early game was really bad. I couldn't gank mid because everything was getting pushed, a few deaths were on our scoreboard. And right in this game i tried Jungle Singed.
I loved the idea of Jungle Singed. I thought he's a very tanky champ, his ganks have to be kinda good because of his

Losing Streak Ends

Before I tell you this story, you have to know about me. I was taught to play Nasus by a friend and after I moved to Volibear. These two champions are my two mains. I normally play with a group of people in one room; however, we play separately from time to time. I used to have a win loss difference of about 24, and I felt like I was on top of the world because of a nine win streak. Although I was doing well at this point, I began to go down after this because I was feeling arrogant and apathetic about all of these games. I spent time playing online during an all-nighter and playing in my sleepless state rewarded me with several losses, five to be exact, consecutively. I then continued on this slippery slope after trying to play with a fair amount of sleep. My consecutive losses were up to 11. These losses were due to many things: bad team fights, bad teams, bad laning phases, and bad timing. I desperately needed a win. I premade with a friend who is an excellent carry as

Beware the fishing rod

Hello everyone

When I first started league it was Jax free week (Yeah haven't seen one of those in awhile)and I played the crud outta him. One day which happened to be the end of the Jax free week my friend decided he would get me a present, Jax and his angler skin, I have fallen in love with the 7 eyed freak ever since.

Moving on recently he supposedly got "nerfed" when dodge was removed altogether but the other work they did to jax was mostly good. He could now choose when his stun went off lower cooldowns higher damage lategame and a passive that lets him jungle at level 1 now. Me being true to the usage of lamppost and fishing rods as weapons stuck with him and tried the new jungle and let's just say The Champ definitely earns the title of grandmaster.

My first game I went 1/3/1 with a 20 min surrender...Not what you were expecting? Well the good news is it was only 3 games later I started to improve until tonight when I went 16/4/3 and in all seriousness carried a feeding vlad …
