Hello everyone, welcome to my Garen guide. Note: This guide is only for 1v1 in Summoner's Rift, and recommended to be use to play with friend. The only reason why is because you can't really be sure what lane are you going. If you have any tips or recommendation for me, please do let me know.

Bloodthirster for lifesteal and attack damage, basically you can melt them.
Phantom Dancer for attack speed and critical strike chance.

Decisive Strike is good for stopping enemy whose use a channel ultimate like Katarina and good for running away/chasing
Demacian Justice great for finishing an enemy off.
Courage is good when running away, or even when you're running away from your opponent.
Judgment can be used to scare enemy away if they're melee, because when they're chasing you, you're spinning away and dealing damage to them at the same time.

PROS
[*] Garen is seriously tanky
[*] His passive is really op, he doesn't even need to go back to the fountain
[*] His Decisive Strike silence enemy
[*] His Judgment is easy for farming, especially with critical chance from Phantom Dancer
[*] His Demacian Justice is really op, great for 1v1.

CONS
[*] If you rush Bloodthirster and you're facing a high-range champions marksman like Caitlyn and someone who can kite you effectively using Frozen Mallet or Ashe
[*] If you don't rush Bloodthirster you shouldn't be able to get an easy kill for people who stack armor.
