Introduction
Yasuo

HASAGI!
|
Pros
+ Very High Damage + High Mobility + Windwall to block projectile attacks + Low Ability cooldowns + Passive doubles crit Yasuo is a great pick for solo queue. He has high carry potential and can win lane easyily if you know what you're doing. It helps even more if your jungler/support/top laner has an ability which knocks enemies up allowing Yasuo to ult easily. He has high mobility with low ability cooldowns which makes him super fun to play at the same time. |
Cons
- Susceptible to CC - Long cooldown on Windwall - Lots of counters - Weak to poke - Drops off late game if game extends too long With such strengths, Yasuo is bound to have a few weaknesses. His W: Wind Wall has a very long cooldown, so after using it you'll be exposed to any incoming attacks or CC. Yasuo also has a high skill curve, so you'll wanna practice him in normals before taking him into ranked. He also has a lot of counters so you'll wanna be careful. |
|
Way of the Wanderer (Passive): A super useful passive. It has two parts. Intent and Resolve. Intent doubles the critical strike gained from an item, while resolve gives you a shield when your Flow meter is full. Yasuo gains flow as he walks. |
|
Steel Tempest (Q): Yasuo's most basic and important ability. It is the base to his entire kit. It has a low cooldown which further decreases based on your attack speed. Landing a Steel Tempest on enemies gives you a stack of Gathering Storm. Two stacks within 10 seconds allows Yasuo to use Steel Tempest as a tornado which knocks enemies up. It strikes critically. |
|
Wind Wall (W): Wind wall is basically a cheat code. It blocks all incoming projectile/airborne attacks. It is a boon which can block many ultimates and even protect you from an ADC's auto attacks which might let you get that kill the fed Vayne on the other team. |
|
Sweeping Blade (E): Yasuo's primary source of mobility, it allows him to dash through multiple enemies due to its very low cooldown. Yasuo can dash using Sweeping Blade and use Steel Tempest at the same time to deal damage in a circle. Using Sweeping Blade while you have a tornado from Steel Tempest active knocks enemies up. |

Yasuo has many different combos which are possible with his kit.

The Keyblade
The keyblade is a move where you combine the Airblade and Beyblade into one move.

Animation Cancelling
Yasuo's Steel Tempest, when it's in tornado form, can be launched without its animation of you use Wind Wall at he same time. This is a handy trick which would give no warning to your enemies about where the tornado is going, and thus make it easier to lane Last Breath.
